I had heard there was some sort of accident he was involved in - a fall or he fell onto something, but nothing else, although I was told he did indeed pass away.

Philander was dealing with a client who was acting up at school, from what im understanding philander fell and hit his head he was air lifted to memphis and seemed to be in good spirits he was paralyzed from the neck down but the drs felt it was temporary, he was taken into surgery sunday morning and didnt make it threw. Very wonderful man who was respected by all who truely knew him.

So very sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I met him briefly about 2 years ago via a friend who cared for Bud during the last couple of years of his life. Philander was very kind when we were introduced. Seemed like a very likable man, strong, good hearted and I know he was valued tremendously by the ranch. I feel so badly for his family, his children, for the co-workers and friends at the ranch. They lost a gentle man and precious soul. I, too, hope to hear some details soon on visitation and funeral. God be with all who knew and loved him through this most difficult time.

Is this going to be investigated or is trinity off scott free.
With The sheriff we have in Randolph county you already know the answer.
Will even OSHA investigate it ?

fall/odd landing and a tragic injury. heard short awkward fall involving neck injury after pushed by 16-17 yr old client. doubt meant to kill - so maybe manslaughter.

trinity is likely guilty of nothing.
osha needed for what?
prosecutor and/or family may make the call on if charges are filed.

hope trinity carries workmans comp.

oh plz

granted it is tragic.. but those are troubled kids they work with up there. a day doesnt go by that one of the kids dont act up.

he was pushed, he was not hit up side the head with something, but when that much weight goes down stuff is going to happen. people get pushed all the time, people fall all the time, his weight and medical problems contributed to his death.

this post had absolutely nothing to do with randolph counties sheriff or charges being brought against the minor involved, you seem to me to be a very disrespectful person and you are not appreciated. Mr Kirk was a wonderful man who was in a very unfortunate situation at work and he will be missed by many. As for visitation and funeral as far as i know visitation will be friday and funeral saturday times have not yet been set up yet.

How is it disrespectful to realize that Trinity is trying to cover up what isn't just an Accident.
He was pushed . He was pushed hard and fell .
His death wouldn't have happened if wasn't pushed.
He was a nice man and you just want to cover it up .
What is going to happen to the kid , will he be getting a medal for this or will they be sent to a better supervised facility?

what the heck is wrong with you? a man died. stop with the bs and trying to make something political out of it with the accusations of a cover up.
can't you wait til the deceased has been mourned and buried before coming with the attacks and hatred.
i'm sure trinity and the authorities will handle it. give them some time.

The first thing said by Phlander upon waking up was 'it wasnt the boys fault'. He fell on accident and its messed up for you people to be putting false information about a man's death on here. Please try to know what the hell you're talking about if you plan to talk on here.
