I closed my facebook about 6 months ago. The peace I have found has been amazing. Since I closed it I've been reading online about how others are doing the same. Seems everyone is tired of it. My last year on there I noticed fewer and fewer posts. I guess a lot of my friends had quit posting or even logging on.

Things I don't miss are as follows;
1. No more having to read about how great people's lives are especially their marriages when the constantly complain behind their spouses back about their spouse.
2. No more baby pics popping up 10 times a day from the bored stay at home mom.
3. No more posts telling me all about tgeir day from the time they get up till the time they go to bed.
4. No more pics of animals giving birth. Like I want to see what a horse's down yonder looks like before she gives birth.
5. No more vacation pics. You know the kind the poster with 100 pics of vacation.
6. No more tags. The person who tags everyone he/she spends time with every weekend. All 50 of them.
7. No more pokes.
8. No more reading crap I don't really care about.
9. No more feeling obligated to like peoples pics of their pets, kids, selfies, even if you don't think the kid or pet is the cutest thing ever. That foes fir over the top selfies too. Where the girl is wearimg stuff only her husband should be allowed to see but yet shes posted it for your veiwing.
10. Last but not least no more drama.

Just come here every once in a while to read up on news. But most of the time there is none. It was just a question. I have read several articles online where people are just sick of it. I know a lot of teens who like instagram and twitter more than facebook.

Yeah I've been joining yahoo groups of things I'm intersted in and doing more and better things with my time. I've been really enjoying it. I used to log on daily to facebook it was so addicting. I only go online once a week now. Its refreshing.

Yup that is why I deleted mine as well. Was just sick to death of reading about other peoples life. I mean come on, if I wanted to hear about lil so and so and how she or he refuses to take a nap or go potty I would become a pediatrician. If I wanted to hear about how your cat or other animal is doing while giving birth I would have asked you. I hate reading the same freaking stuff from the same lame people. And those people with such wonderful lives. I love my job, car, kids, wife, husband, breakfast, shower, and my lunch. Oh gag me now. Life isn't all roses and those who only post the good in their life absolutely make me sick. That is so fake!!! Fake people make me sick.

Needless to say I was over Facebook about three years ago when I realized how people put on a show called my life is better then yours when I know them in real life and I know better.

I use peoples profile pictures to masturbate to when when I am tired and can't concentrate on my Spank Bank.

What is truly jaw dropping is when folks who have passed on and could not stand fb have their obituaries announced openly and against their wishes to gain nothing but self pity for the one showing it. and they usually had hardly any love for that person for if they did they would have known and respected them peacefully.
