Maybe that's why someone bought the old motel. A little inside information? Buy it for a song and sell for a small fortune. It would be a prime piece of real estate if it never floods again.
i still think the whole restaurant thing is a hoax. and can't see that lot selling for much profit if they gave 1/4 mil for it. lot and building cost would be long term risk.
most investors and franchise folks are smarter than to invest here right now. lot of competition and not many high end daily/weekly diners here to keep it full. just doubt the numbers are here for an outback and a high franchise fee investment and risk.

Save your sermons for Sunday, dough-head. We're talking about the new TGI Friday's they're going to build where the glass place is across the road from Walmart.

The only dumbass here is you. Do you have any idea what the start up costs are for an Outback Stakehouse franchise? Have you even bothered to find out what minimum income might be required to maintain it? Do you really - Really - believe Pocahontas could support an up-scale restaurant of that type? Really???

The reason people are poking fun at this thread is because only a moron with the IQ of road-kill would be stupid enough to believe a rumor like that. If you're truly that dumb then I'm willing to sell you the Black River bridge at a 50% discount.

If that's true then they'll have to import the waitresses. Most the girls in Corning either have only one big boob in the middle or three little ones. The ones who have only two only have them on their backs.

So far the only Kiowatts we have found in the area are Raymond Mansker and Jeff Nips

We will continue or search for our descendants -

Gonna put in a Casa Bonita on the square....Mexican buffet......They think it will do great in the area even though there is limited population, because there are so many fat asses that love to eat 6x more than they should at every meal. It will allow smoking too. So, all the fat asses in Pokey and surrounding communities (90% of population) can now smoke and eat like pigs at a trough 7 days a week.

They just hope there are no cut backs on disability payments by govt or any deaths before these pigs turn 35. If so, there business model will fail. Otherwise, will be a huge success!

Enjoy you fat pigs!
