Where did that walking track go to or should we say why did it disappear from the final pool plans?
That was supposed to be a big selling point for those people who wanted some other form of exercise besides a pool. We get the highest taxes in NEA and a pool but no sports complex or multi use facility.

It's time for a wake up call and if the pool tax passes everyone should Demand that there is the walking track.
The idea was that this was going to serve more than just the kids.

king joe probably killed it in favor of his pet roofed racing pool part.

the council needs to tell him to just sit down and shut up when he gets too involved in their discussion and decisions. and do it often.

he is NOT an elected councilman!
is way too involved in council leadership, business, and decision making, and always seems to try and have input and express his view on non legal stuff.

now we are seeing him lead and push this huge park project and tax that will make the council look foolish.
enough allready

supposed to be nothing but a legal adviser and we've had plenty of legal problems/losses/payments under his watch.

surprise rushed first ambulance ordinance and later actions on it were very weak council leadership and he was too involved and right there leading the way on it and the agenda. helping and finding ways to lead the council into going around and against the voters vote was quite revealing. he is part of the leadership problem at city hall. some of his legal leadership and oversights have cost us dearly and makes the city look bad.

when the first meeting was held at the community center to talk about all the new things & improvements they wanted for the city the cost was a little over $6 million. that was for the walking track at the community center & other improvements there, the new pool complex, the ampetheater at the park, new bathrooms, concession stand & other improvements at the soccer/ball fields. how did we end up with only a new pool area thats going to cost $7 million?! i think the city has some explaining to do. i sure dont understand it.

they won't explain anything, and we are too lazy to care. We don't give a $ h I t, we let them do what they want. We get what we deserve.
