I can believe the city put up lighted snow flakes and don't even plug them in! Look like they got to go back and plug up. WOW, Now that's the cost to the tax payer. Burn gas and employees cost. Why did they not plug them in? County got there thing together. Beautiful court house. County judge help on that wonderful lighting . Sloppy on the city, no lights around downtown. Unless there not plug in. Come on city lets get the act together! Where is the LIGHTS. Lights ! My husband loveeee lights!!

They might be waiting till after Thanksgiving to plug them in so as to save on the cities electric bill. You know that gas tank is cheaper to fill up nowadays since Arkansas buys 70% of their total load of electric from neighboring states. WOW, now that's how to save tax payers money.

the city or county did not pay for the lights around the courthouse, that came from private business giving donations, city and county did give labor

They really need to replace the blown bulbs so they look like a snow flake

I am glad to see citizens raising money and donating to decorate our courthouse, but I would rather see the lights put on the courthouse, or outline the porch or doors/windows, rather than just string them on the trees in no real pattern. All of those random strands just take away from the courthouse. The fence looks good.

The snowflakes are not usually lit up until after Thanksgiving....maybe to save money and to also not rush Christmas?

Dorothy you need some new glasses. There is no time to sit around and smoke for catering to the citizens.

Hardy, Hoxie, Paragould, Walnut Ridge and Newport. Lights are on at these towns and before Thanksgiving. Some had them on 2 to 3 weeks before Thanksgiving.
