Good ole Deputy Scotty Bland took the call.
The only way he could find tracks is if there is a doughnut inside it.

I live on Johnson Church Road. A road off of country club. I've personally seen a mountain lion. In fact in my very own backyard. Very scary. I feel uncomfortable leaving the house knowing dangerous wildlife lingers in the woods around the house. Please be on the lookout for things like this I promise they're out there.
Carry a large caliber rifle and eliminate the pest.

If you live in the rural county areas, you should have a firearm handy to stop any animal that acts aggressive at you. A .22 rifle will work folks.
The deputy who took the report SHOULD have looked for tracks. The Sheriff needs to talk to this deputy for his poor performance on this case.

trying to bag a bear with a .22 caliber rifle is akin to taking a knife to a gunfight..

<quoted text>I've lived here in this house ever since I got married and headed out on my own. I had never seen anything like this until this past November. If they were running around your house would you just pack up a U-Haul and move because "they were there first"?
Gary, I live on Cimarron. A connecting road to Johnson Church and I also have seen a mountain lion. Do you hear loud screams every so often? It sounds like a woman screaming from where I am. I researched it and apparently it's a mountain lions mating call. They sure are out there.

We live a ways away, off Old Ferry Ln towards James Ranch. I've seen a mountain lion out here. Heard that screaming noise too, but didn't know it was a big cat!

couple years ago we saw a cat much larger than a bobcat, couldn't believe our eyes. Glad there was two of us that saw, otherwise would have been in denial. well north of Poky

The deputy your talking about contacted the game and fish because that's their job but they said they were to busy. Normal practice for them. I agree with no tracks on ice

My family and I went fishing at Ashbaugh Lake one day last summer and we seen a bobcat crossing the road down in that area on our way back home. Everyone seen it, it wasn't our imagination. It looked to be a baby which means there has got to be a mom sonewhere near too.

Anybody know more about the dog that was killed Thursday morning? Said it was possibly a bear. Seems like they would find tracks of whatever it was, especially if it was a bear! Kinda SCARY!

Do they know for a fact that it was a dog? Or is that your educated guess?

They posted on Region 8 that it was a dog or a coyote, coyotes run in packs, there would not have been much left of the poor dog if it had been coyotes..
