Well I must give her credit for believing in this berg according to the real estate add she bought the town house motel in east pocahontas.
I bet she will want the city to spend more money on the high 67 rock and roll fest.

You know she may be helping herself my helping Pocahontas. So What!!!!! This town needs something going on and if it is Rock & Roll festival, or anything that may bring dollars and jobs here we need the help. As far as her political affiliation, that does not matter anymore. There is not much difference from a Rep. or Dem. If she opens the hotel, she will need clerks, housekeepers etc. That sounds like jobs to me!!!! It is easy to sit on here and complain and many that do don't even vote. Way to go Linda!!!!

How is opening another flea infested motel going to help Pocahontas? It will end up renting (by the week) to junkies and dealers like the other three run down motels. That will just bring more drugs and other crime into town. Days Inn will still be the only motel catering to travelers.

I don't understand how anyone can find fault with someone because they buy or start a business. That old motel has set there empty and an eyesore for years. And she bought it. Why does it bother you so much that she bought it. Sounds like jealousy to me! Others had a chance to buy it and didn't.
