It was lester brown. He was checking his mail and got hit. Killed on impact

Police report said Vickie spears was the driver

It said he was walking across the highway. Probably just an accident. Praying for her and mr brown's family.

Prayers for the Lester family and for the driver of the pick-up. I am sure this woman is going to have a lot to deal with herself. Such a sad tragic accident. I feel badly for all involved.

The state police are still checking the accident for things like road conditions and cell phone usage, just routine.

My papa was a great man and the best papa anyone who knew him would say the same but i love and miss him so much it just dont seem fair, but i know he is in a better place he isnt suffering no more. Vickie Spears came to the funeral and we all forgave her because she has known papa and nanny for years we believe it was an accident and she said it made her feel better knowing we forgive her and it is something she will have to live with she said she keeps reliving it and i pray for her and wish others will to and for my family because we need all the prayers we can get! Thank You so much for sharing that with us. So very kind and compassionate for you all to forgive Ms. Spears. I have no doubt it was an accident. I am just so very sad you all lost this man and with it being the holidays. I just lost my niece in a very bad car accident right before Thanksgiving down in Sedgewick and I know it's been so very hard for us coping with it all. Your family sounds very special and I just want you to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers and so is Ms. Spears.God Bless You all dear girl..
