Today, on the 22 year anniversary of my uncle, Wolfe Blansett, death, I want us all to remember him in a moment of silence.

He was a man of great ourage as demonstrated when he fot in both WW II and Korea and by knocking on deaths door by defending two young girls being harassed by 6 young, mean tuffs from Piggott at current river beach in the summer of 1979.....Dr. Marc Gunter said he never seen a man so physically ravished as he was, beat so many, so bad as Wolfe did that day. He sacrificed his well being for the pride of thes two women and the city of Pocahontas.

Yes, he was bad to drink and was married multiple times, couldnt hold a job and paoched widlife, but lets remember Wolfe for all the good he did our country and city on this sad day.

RIP Uncle Wolfe.
