What a dumbasss. The Waterpark would be closed when the kids are uptown on the parking lots. Besides, kids old enough to drive will not be spending that much time at the waterpark.

First of all, a waterpark would cost money to get in to. No kid is gonna pay to go slide down some kiddy slides when they can all just go get drunk at river lots we know that's all the kids around here like to do these days

I agree the Waterpark and pool would be something that kids of all ages would enjoy.

. Why the name calling just because someone has an opinion that's different than your own?

The kids in this town are pathetic. They lose any privileges they earn by ruining lots in their big trucks by doing donuts or leaving beer cans and cigarette buds laying around all over someone's lot. They just need to stay home. They cause way too much trouble

few more will use a new one vs the old one, except some more toddlers and pre teens. 7.5 mil and half mil/yr is not worth entertaining a few hundred for usage a few months.

toddlers won't be outdoors yr round using the splash areas and slide pool. many others are in peewee programs in the other months, and teens will be busy with school and athletics. many kids are at the ballfields in the summer.

seems $illy to have expensive new pools shut down nine months, and heated building$ and heated indoor pool$ for so few in the fall, winter, and spring.

Most of the kids in this town can't even afford to use the city pool, there is no way they could afford a water park,it would only benefit the people with money. If it passes we will be doing all our buying in Jonesboro and Paragould,we WILL NOT pay for something we DO NOT need or want.

They need to stay out of the big truck parking lot out on the gravel road doing their donuts, that parking lot is for trucks only, they will go to jail,if they want to tear up their parents vehicles, they need to find some place else to do it.

Seriously? Calling us pathetic? What else do we have in this poor and small town that can entertain us? Please tell me. Before you go calling us pathetic teens how about you entertain us you sack of shit?! You know we get crap for not ever going outside or we get crap for going outside and hanging out. What about the ones that don't have trucks and hangout there? Stop trying to take something away from the other people that don't do crap! So quick calling us pathetic and other stuff. If you're an adult you're the pathetic one talking about kids. Apparently you need to grow up. Bye.

There Definately needs to be more in this town for kids to do. I am all for the aquatic center or any new programs for the kids.

parents and kids should learn to entertain themselves if they WANT more. buy you own pool! or open up a skating rink, jump center, or pool hall/arcade center. taxpayers shouldn't have to satisfy kids every want and wish. they're not our kids. YOU do it.

stop with your wants off the backs of others!
live in the real world and stop spoiling the kids.
where did you grow up to expect so much?

we taxpayers furnish them much more than other towns.
go look at corning or walnut ridge, or smaller towns. what do they have?
we have a big enough pool, and enough peewee programs, and enough ball fields, and enough city parks, a community center, and community events, and church programs, and schools, and school athletics, and school events, and rivers, and lakes, etc.

move to jbr or paragould if you to be with 25,000 folks and WANT more to do.
