it was intentional ,that rag is run by a die hard leftist commie that even makes OBAMA look like a conservative. They censure both the news and the ads.

Is it just here say or is the paper really not much of a money maker?
Could it be that it does not print anything bad about a democrat or a Baltz?

political ads paid by heather williams and linda collins smith.

2 1/6 page ads. assume they completely left out a big red NO on 1 and a big red VOTE NO on the other.
paper said the color was omitted by error when printing.
ads did hav big empty spaces in them.
made the ad buyers and their message look stupid.
and sure didn't help the NO cause.

if a few dozen voters might have been noticed the BIG RED NO's,(caught their attention as intended instead of looking stupid) and curious about and went to the site advertised, and decided to switch their votes, we may have gotten a different election result.

first one had -

Get OFF the couch!!

(big)VOTE (_nothing_)
on
higher city taxes.

*High taxes kill job growth
*High taxes drain your pocketbook

2nd one -
at top -
Your Vote AGAINST Higher City Taxes
Is a Vote FOR Good Government

(big empty space - about 2/3 of ad)

It was intentional as is any ( mistake) that the Star hernia makes.
A corrupt newspaper goes well with a corrupt town, you should have figured that out by now. The intent of the newspaper is to keep unemployment and taxes high and wages low, look at the Democratic family that owns it and that fat ugly little editor.

editor and staff have published their share of misstatements in the paper lately. seems the Rockwell/owners would disapprove and demand better unbiased editorials, coverage, and reporting. guess not.

They were clearly biased during the ambulance issue. The items that they chose to omit or phrases they took out of context was shameful. How dare they call themselves journalist. Their paper is not worth being used in the place of Charmin!!!

The owners feed from the same trough as the establishment, don't doubt it.

really, they screw up everything you give to put in the paper what
little of a paper it is.
have you notice it gets smaller all the time, but i know how
they do,they have but one time to get one right that i have given
them to put in,i guess that is the reason jack has been there lately.
they screwed one this week, there was 3 things that needed to be
in so one was wrong so they did n put any of it in there.it is
and yes it was convenient,
i know what you are talking about,
and that caused them to get what they wanted. that is pretty
sorry to.if you cant serve the people get some one who can.
they just need some computation.people dont want their money back
they want their news printed.

the real news never gets printed, such as the James Ranch incident where a girl got beat by her boyfriend at a public event..this is not news..but a teenage kid gets busted with a little bit of weed makes front page news
