Just strikes me as funny that "know nothin" can ramble on and on with asinine arguments while butchering the English language and one damn spelling error is the only thing progressives can point out. Reminds me of the saying "Gag on a gnat, but swallow a camel".

Not necessarily true, Ole No. III has dinged people several times for spelling and grammar, just wanted to level the playing field a bit. BOC those times don't count.

Been on the course all day, tired. And it would seem that B-III is indisposed at the moment, probably in special session with John Boehner and the House leadership working on that fiscal cliff thingy.

Actually I seldom point out grammar, punctuation or spelling unless the person is being a consistent ass about something. With auto correct and grammar correction, I get more changes to my posts than corrections by my wife. My "their" error was actually an autocorrect change made my iPad and I saw no reason to correct it, you can tell from context what is meant. I really do not know if "noone" is no one or none, even in the context of the statement. And neither of my parents speaks English.

It's OK, it is hard to be PC at all times. I have Black and Gay friends, they make fun of their white and straight friends, but we all get along, it is never hurtful.

Why don' we take a vote for electrd officials bank accounts to be frozen and have them live on minimum wage for their terms in office? They expect my family to live on it or less. I have a college education and can't find a job as there aren't any due to yhem sending them to other countries. What is wrong with "WE THE PEOPLE" when we pay someone an extreme wage to put us, their employer, on the street?
um how bout we don't?... and who is "they" you are talking about? your state had a choice to be right to work state and that is what the majority of the populous voted on .. congress has already sent forth proposals on raising minimum wage which was shot down by repbulicans in the house .. so why don't you talk to them about why they decided to do that.. there are no jobs in pocahontas and northeast arkasnas due to alot of reasons and the best thing anyone can do is get out in the world and leave that dieing town behind... there is alot better living .. peolpe just have to have the will to get out...there are also state minimum wages .. how come your arkansas legistlature doesn't take initiative to raise minimum wage?.. when unions are broken "peoples" right to collective bargaining is no longer a factor and companies and ceos have the say so in what better profits "the company" as a whole rather than listen to a majority of their workers.. and there is no way for us to vote on the wages paid to our senate house and president. those are determined by the US office of personnel management.

So instead of China pumping, lets say,$500 billion into our economy making our bill to them $500 billion, we simply cut them off and still owe $1 trillion. For simplicity lets say China has devalued their currency to half the value of the American dollar. So it has taken $2 trillion Chinese yuán to get us $1 trillion American dollars. Lets say China decides now is the time to manipulate their currency up to twice the value of the dollar. Guess what, we now owe $2 trillion for the $1 trillion we borrowed. And you say that doesn't matter because we are the largest economy in the world. "This might be a new concept to you but people will protect their financial well being by doing whatever it takes. Even if it means moving to another country that is more tax friendly." does that not mean they will not move their companies over seas as well?.. does that not mean they will not move their headquarters as well? who knows? you didn't specify and i blieve those sentences no matter how it is read would lead any normal person to believe that you are yes "IMPLYING" that everything will be moved..and i do not really care what party you belong too yes i assume you are republican because you have not givin one reason for me not to think so .. you have demonized everything democrats have did and are currently doing and are looking forward too.. so what democratic views did you say you had exactly??? lol you still don't know how true supply and demand really works do you? but that's ok it will sink in at some point in time in your life... and what "socialistic views" are you takling about? the articles i find and are so right are from credible media sources as i have said over and over again... and from dictionairies and encyclopedia's .. factual nonfictional print...by credible authors or sources... so http://www.ivcc.edu/stylebooks/stylebook6.asp... that link should help you in determining what credible means to you lol kinda odd it says .edu is set up by primarily students and isn't so credible lol the irony.. just use common sense really.. if fox goes to court for lieing would you really want to trust anything they say? china ignores what sanctions? how are they able to do that? i do think that your way of thinking is skewed.. we cannot tell another country how to manage their money..but we can file appeals with the way they trade..ok so let me type the rest on another post

ok so about the currency.. lol yyah right.. nothing like that has ever happend and could not possibly happen...
Function
1.Currencies were once assessed by the gold standard, which compared currencies to the U.S. dollar and then to the value of gold. However, this was abandoned after WWI. The current method of assessing currency values is based on the floating currency exchange rate, which is a more efficient way of valuing currency from one country to another, even though currency values fluctuate from day to day.
Significance
2.Currencies are traded in pairs, such as the U.S. dollar to the Euro, so that the value of one currency is seen against the other, then other related factors are also examined to determine the overall currency value.
Economic Conditions
3.The Fair Market Value of a currency is based on the agreed amount at which it is bought and sold. Many factors are considered about the country when determining a reasonable trade value.
Politics
4.The economic condition of a country, such as employment rates and opportunities for growth, is examined when comparing its currency to another country. Currencies of prosperous countries are then given a higher value than the currency of economically struggling nations.
War Affects Currency
5.The political climate of a country is assessed for its stability in its national governance, and in the global political realm. The value of currency is directly affected by the country's allies and enemies, as well as political agendas.
6.Whether or not a country is at war also affects the value of the currency trade. Not only does the war itself raise heightened economic concerns, but currency is either strengthened or weakened by the purpose of the war, the country's role and allies in the conflict.
yah that's kinda how currency is determined.

Evidently you write before you read and acknowledge. I believe I was talking about elected officials. I didn't refer to specifically Democrats or Republicans. I was referring to all elected officials. As far as minimum wage, that is federal not state. Maybe you should visit a law library in your town and study on government before posting. As far as relocating, why should I have to leave my home I pay for to accommodate the budget. Let them(elected officials) work for what they(elected officials)govern our(U.S. citizens) wages to be. Did you get that or was it a little complicated for you to understand? Major corporations send business overseas and to Mexico to avoid paying taxes in the U.S. we do not allow sweat shops in the United States but our government will not tax corporations for products made out of our country and shipped back in. People that are NOT citizens get more help than actual citizens. If minimum wage was enough to live on and hiring standards were raised to the point of having to be a citizen before you were able to own a business or work here maybe some of our jobs would still be here. I worked at a company who ask for volunteers to go to Mexico and train their people so they could move our jobs their because they paid their employees less. Our government should tax the crap out of corporations who move or close factories down in the U.S. to out of the country. I think if our taxes pay their wages they should receive the same minimum wages that we get.

"Your posts, for the most part, make no sense whatsoever because you are asking people to answer your questions in a manner that only fits your views." um no .. all the questions i have asked are simple questions asking .. essentially the same thing... what makes you think that what you just said is actually true.. what caused you to make those kinds of allegations with no factual evidence disscussed anywhere by anyoone except for those you work with or current family members?...thats how my questions are set up .. and have been proven time and time again to be putting an end to all this fear mongoring and lieing accusations
that have been tossed around like they are whole truths...and if someone who cannot see the truth or speak the truth must have the truth rudely told to them lol ... i would be alot more linient with my words but most republicans . not you because you are an independant .. have no morals for what comes out of their mouth incase you have not noticed by some name bashing on here... so that's why i call them those things... and i know the business is completely irrelivant to this discussion.. but ... to claim you own something and believe a certain way .. which was strongly right wing bs sense i have not seen one liberal thought on your side... and bring that up as a talking point in one of your posts can surely not be offended if someone asks what business it is? because you simpley brought it up .. may not have been in this post but you did bring it up ... so why not get some free advertisement? lol but it's your choice and i salute you for not disclosing the name because i would not want a good sensible establishment such as yours i assume you are running being degraded on a backwoods blog that everyone in that town seems to read lol

If you are working for minimum wage, you already have more government than you deserve. One minute you have corporations going overseas to avoid taxes, then you have them going overseas to avoid wages, consider that they are operating in a competitive global economy and they might go overseas to survive. If you , a grown man, is still working for minimum wage, they might not have much of a labor pool in this country.
