<quoted text>ok here's the CBO report that was released on it http://www.cbo.gov/sites/default/files/cbofil... ... the goal is to control and pay down the deficit .. we're already in the crapper now we have to dig our way out if that makes sense? after we get our credit rating back the republicans were so eager to let us lose ... then everything will get alot easier... debt will paid down with respect to GDP.. but first we must put certainty back into americans and the worlds minds that we can actually act responsibly to balance a budget.. and over the next several years you will see things begin to change.. things will get better for us and in turn will gradually get better for the world.. just like i have been saying all along though we have to have compromise of some sort in the republican controlled house.
Looked at it. Never gonna happen. Even the CBO projects an additional $6.3 trillion in debt which is unsustainable. It's a pipe dream. This report has revenues going up by over $200 billion every single year. With unemployment above 8%, that's wishful thinking. Furthermore, this is figured off of baseline budgeting which we have already seen how terrible that method is. You can't count savings that are off of projected increases in spending. It makes politicians feel all warm and fuzzy but it puts more strain on us tax payers that foot the bill. All of this is assuming that tax payers won't adjust their financial habits as new taxes come down the line. They will and the revenues will be less than anticipated. Europe lost the revenue of 10,000 millionaires that they didn't account for when they levied a 50% tax on people making over $1 millon pounds and now they are in worse shape than they were. It will happen here too. Looks like we will just have to wait and see.

I believe in reincarnation you benifit in this life from what you did in the past. Whose to say that I wont reincarnate into the same family in the future. Its not the goverments money its mine, The goverment had ought naught to do with my earning it. Its already been taxed when I earned it. Its redundant to tax it again when my children inerit. And its easy to make statements like if ? I will gladly pay 50%. No you wouldnt that isnt true. I dont make $250,000 and I shure hate to give the goverment any tax money.. the goverment just wastes it anyway, The USA doesnt have a problem of not enough taxes. The goverment has a parasite problem and a spending problem.
no genius it is not called "luck" when someone inherits something lol .. why such ignorance?.. i mean really... wht does everyone do just sit around and hope someone gets "lucky" by getting wealthy somehow and pass that "luck" on? now inheriting good or bad genes may involve a bit of luck... and i never said they shouldn't ... i said that some people are born with a silver sppoon in their mouth and never "want" or "need";therefore make foolish discisions and actions with little or no reprocusion... and think those things are fine and carry those into influential positions such as elected officials like bohener ... or top level positions in power such as CEO's...and YOU could not have EARNED anything if you INHERITED something.. in that case you had something HANDED to you. and who are you to tell me what i would and would not do? and what i do and do not think? i garuntee i would.. why would i need that much money? i would first help family and friends with major problems and help them out of debt then give the rest to the government that i did not need... it's called not being greedy. the reason you hate to pay taxes is because they may be cutting into your want a new boat fund, want a new car fund, want to take a vacation fund, want a new tv fund, you are mad at paying taxes because it cut into your "want" fund... well i want alot of stuff too and i am gradually working towards it but .. i also realize that all of America depends on taxes and you should too because it for sure does... and America is counting on us to pay those taxes to help prosper the country .. and more taxes means more prosperity for all ... and by taxes .. i mean federal taxes.. medicare, social security, and state, taxes i beleive should be and will be left alone... and no it's not redundent because if they inherit millions of dollars and pay no first time taxes on it how is that fair to anyone that year if you haven't already paid your taxes for them before you die on all that you probably will or should have earned that year?... because normally if your making millions like that you have a business or some other form of money making that your kids will be inheriting as well... the government does not waste money actually since obama has been in office we have cut close to 1T dollars of wasteful spending... taxes pay for roads and maintenance, pay for teachers, our military and defense, our schools, subsidises our oil, food, and energy to make it cheaper for everyone, pays our elected officials, pays for people leaving the workforce once they hit retirement age, pays for people who get terminal cancer or some other desease where they cannot work and pays for them to get better, pays for people who are down on their luck through no fault of their own and helps them get back on their feet, so you tell me what part of those benifits are a waste? and no what america has is an ignorance and undereducated problem.

look genius don't try and act or pretend that you know how the tax code works or how to figure up just how tax plans work when you do not have a degree in such field nor have ever worked for any profession that has been involved in such field.. do not try to pretend your an expert on something you have no experiance in... you can sit there with your little numbers all you want and keep figuring over and over how to 0 out the budget but that's not going to happen immediatly through this deal period... the goal is to control our budget get back our rating and pay down the deficit.. so get it right there are no miracles after a decade of wastefull spending and uncontrolled spending... i told you what? we're in the S%&* so we have to dig ourselves out... don't look for an unrealistic answer to a situation that will take decades to control and overcome ... Ignorance got us into this mess, and good informed educated decisions will get us out... and that CBO report was ran back in Febuary 2012 things have changed i just posted that to get your ignorance to stop... but apparently nothing sinks in ... 4T is what we have to get to that's what offer is on the table just accept that and get over this over-reading into things... if you were a tax professionalist or economist guess what you'd be at work right now doing those things and would not question what top economists and other tax professionalist backed by independant researchers have already said "may not be a quick fix, but is a substantial plan to grow our economy in the long term" so get real with your BS .. i'm tired of hearing about how YOU cannot comme up with the numbers... that's because YOU are looking for and at all the wrong numbers... and YOU did not go to school to figure this equation out so don't get mad at me because your choice in job carrers is not in economics nor in tax policy... so with that being said you can say all day everyday tht this will not work and i will not care because trained "professionals" have said that this is a fair way to come to terms with balancing the budget.

America Commits Suicide

Here lies the United States of America
Born: July 4, 1776
Died: November 6, 2012

The Will of the People Has Spoken, and America Died

The End of an Empire

Our Constitutional Republic died a peaceful death on November 6, 2012. Having reached the point of no return in a comatose state after years of progressive and illegal immigration assaults, the fabric of conservative society is now completely unraveled and Uncle Sam’s America is no more.

The United States of America is now relegated to the dust bin of history as a “has been” empire. The Shining City on the Hill, the hope of so many millions since July 4, 1776, no longer exists. What rises from the ashes is a country that few of us will recognize, like, or learn to accept submissively.

After 236 years of existence, a new country emerges today, run by secular progressives who rejected our Constitution, what we stand for, and who we are as a nation. The Supreme Court will be forever altered after its last conservative members will be replaced by the liberal academics who call themselves “progressives.” The rule of law will be implemented by Executive Orders, making Congress irrelevant.

The communist motto “Forward” that resonated with so many ignorant Americans will plunge us into many years of darkness from which we will never be able to recover. We have proven our Founding Fathers right, they did give us a Constitutional Republic and we were unable to maintain it.

The forces of the failed communist fundamental transformation that were driven underground in many places around the world, resurfaced with a vengeance in the United States and have now taken over.

How long we will still have freedom of speech, movement, assembly, and control of our private property remains to be seen. Faith and churches will be driven underground; allowing secularism to prosper and take deep roots among the progressives whose God is Mother Earth.

The welfare-dependent Americans, unions, and illegal aliens have chosen for the rest of us the dark path of serfdom to big government and to socialist utopia.

Who would have guessed that the very people who were complaining that the government is not extricating them from disaster or giving them the help they needed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, would vote for the very politicians who turned their backs on needy Americans after the lights went dark when the political photo opportunities ended?

Who would have guessed that Americans were as ignorant and irresponsible as to choose fiscal destruction over fiscal sanity for their children and grandchildren, secularism and communism over faith, dependence over personal responsibility and self-reliance?

Americans have been protesting for the last four years the dismal state of the economy and the direction of our country, the corruption of our politicians, and the loss of personal and economic freedom.

Rallies in support of conservatism overwhelmed venues for Mitt Romney while rallies for our bumbling President became scarcer and scarcer. Yet, miraculously, at the ballot box, our President won all over the country.

We lost seats in the Senate. Americans chose liars and cheats to be their Senators and Representatives, rejecting those who protected the Constitution. The candidate from Massachusetts who claimed direct American Indian lineage to Pocahontas is now a Senator, having defeated Scott Brown. Representative Allen West lost his seat by a narrow margin to the infamous Wasserman Schultz from Florida.

Americans chose high unemployment, reduction of our military, communist indoctrination of their children, and loss of personal freedoms unlike we have never seen before

By your post, I can only assume that you are an accountant or something tax related. You would have to be to make a post like the one above, though I bet you are not in any field close to a tax professional. That means you know no more than I do yet you wouldn't know that from your posts. The other thing is that your post is a great argument for my point of view. You posted a CBO report from Feb 2012 and then said things have changed. That must mean that report no longer is valid. You then stick with the argument that $4 trillion is the magic number even though you admit things have changed. Hey, at least that number didn't change as it has in your past couple of posts. You said that I am looking at all the wrong numbers...THEY WERE THE NUMBERS YOU GAVE ME!!! I don't even think those numbers are correct. I just used them so you wouldn't have a complaint, yet here you are. "Trained professionals" is who have been figuring this out for decades and where has that gotten us? BTW, I am completely happy with my career choice and want nothing to do with the tax code but a fifth grader that has a simple lemonade stand and a calculator could easily see that the path we are on is unsustainable. Let's just wait and see how it plays out. My guess is that the situation will "change" again giving you a completely different argument to make.

Abortion is NOT a political issue. Politicians need to quit acting like it is. It is a moral issue. We all have different morals.
Reality is, there is a BABY in there- no matter how many months along it is.
Some people always have to bring rape into the equation when the topic of abortion comes up. More often than not, it is NOT from a rape. It is from two irresponsible people playing grown-up and craeting a child they both KNOW they could be creating because it feels good and they don't have the wherewithall to say "NO" and mean it. This goes for BOTH parties. Once they realize how "inconvenienced" they will be with a kid, they decide the baby should pay with it's life for their stupid, self-centered moment of fun.
I say tough. You created it, you KNEW you were possibly creating it- Now act like the responsible adult you were trying to be during your moment of adult fun and raise your kid! If you really are that SELFISH and don't want to be bothered by "IT," then adopt it out to someone who truly wants a child.
BTW, I also believe that the woman should not have the final say in the matter. The baby belongs to TWO PEOPLE EQUALLY, not just one. The man should have half of the decision. If he wants his child, she carries it to term, like it or not!
Abortion and birth control are no more than vehicles used to sensationalize issues for uninformed voters and to demonize those opposed to it. It gives the uninformed something to fight for that is not as boring as budget issues and fiscal cliffs. What's sad is that it actually works on our voting public.

look.. the magic number is still 4t as a goal.. but we will probably fall a little short of that number .. and the numbers i gave you were correct .. but you were not taking in all the underlying changes and factors that have came with time and are still to come.. republicans thank goodness have proposed their bill and now the 2 need to just mesh out their differences and come to a compromise with common ground.. and i garuntee it is not just as black and white as everyone thinks it is .. there are alot of circumstances, consequences, and factors that play into balancing and budgeting any nations economy.. it's not as simple as balancing a bank account

Oh it is that simple. Politicians just make it more complex than that. You simply predict the revenue based on previous years, prioritize spending, if there is not enough revenue to account for all spending either adjust spending levels to fit more programs in or simply cut programs out all together that are not absolutely necessary. If more revenue is taken in than is anticipated, you simply look to add some of the fringe programs that didn't make the cut in the previous year. It's exactly like a business budget. Now, I understand that is not the way it happens now. Politicians face way too many hands that are being held out looking for kickback pieces of legislation for their cause or state or whatever. It's not the politicians money anyway so they don't care. If it was their money, we wouldn't be in the spot we are in.
