Classic. You have told me on countless occasions that just because the Democrats have control of 2/3 of our government that it doesn't mean they can get anything done because of the apparent power of the 1/3. But when it's Republicans that have the 2/3 you question why they couldn't get anything done with that much power. Following your leader I see. One year ago Obama said that if any dictator uses chemical weapons against his people, that was HIS red line. Now that they have allegedly been used, he says "it's not my red line, it's the world's red line". It would be funny if it weren't true.
Read it again, I did not say Republicans had controlled, I said the Dems were the minority in both Houses.

In other words, they would have as much power as you say the Dem's. do now. Correct?

I did not ask why, "why they could not get anything done with that much power"

You're lying again Christian,

I said "why did they not do anything".

My God man, have you been siting there all night hitting that refresh button waiting on me?
Now if you want to think that is what my post said, all I can tell you is, I hope that silly notion brings you cheer.
Since you are so keen on remembering what I say, I am sure you have seen me say, I am not pro abortion, and if a woman who exercises her right to free choice, that is between here and her maker.
Pitiful how you have twist another's words, or lets just call it what it really is, lying, to appease your self.
Seriously, get some help.
Why would anyone wait on you? Man, you think a lot of yourself.
I don't think it should be a woman's choice once there's a living human being growing inside her. I believe the baby has rights. I think it's her responsibility to prevent the pregnancy in the first place. See, there's this thing called adoption where the mother isn't tied down to something she doesn't want and the baby gets to have a family that wants him/her. Now why would you not have a problem with the murder of an innocent helpless child simply because it's the mothers decision? As much as you try to appear as though you support a person's decision for their body, you are simply condoning murder. I don't and I won't.

Another bad jobs report. Worse than expected. 169K jobs added in August but we need 125K jobs each month just to keep up with those entering the workforce each month. The unemployment rate fell to 7.3% but why it fell is what's disturbing. The decline in the unemployment rate was for all the wrong reasons, driven by people leaving the labor force, not by people finding jobs. In fact, the number of people reporting they had jobs, a measure based on a separate survey from the one used to calculate payroll gains, actually fell by 115,000 in August. The labor force participation rate, the share of the population that’s working or looking for work, is at its lowest level in 35 years. Of course liberals are probably going to have a parade in celebration of the decline in the unemployment rate. I have never seen people so out of touch with reality have so much power and responsibility. It's no wonder we are in such trouble. I shudder to think of what we will look like in 3 more years if the irresponsible, progressive, socialistic, Democratic party ends up with control of both houses of Congress in 2014. Never thought I would consider a mid-term election important but the 2014 elections may be the most important elections in our nations history where freedom and prosperity are concerned.

Like I said, lets get back on topic again. There has been genocide in this world since history has been recorded. The point, using gas was a violation of the Geneva Conventions.
To say its just two civil wars, what is the difference, is just plain ignorance and desperation to act like you have a clue.
So you are telling me that the President has to have Congressional approval before he takes action?

So Boy Barney which side in Syria are you on? Who do you think we should bomb?

Funny how all libs twist their words to where they say a lot but it comes out as nothing. You ask Boy Barney a simple question and he goes on like Obama on a rant and you never get an answer you are just happy he shut up!

Again if that is what you got out of that post, more power to you.

I will go out on a limb here and say a sane person would consider that was a question I ask you. Not a statement by me.

The US government used chemical warfare in Vietnam. Napalm and Agent Orange. Who knows this could be a false flag event? If Dumbama get his way the Nukes will fly. We will all be glowing in the dark. The Idiots want a nuclear war. They have a entire underground city at weather mountain just a few miles from DC. They think they can be safe underground and emerge afterward. Those Un and NWO folks need to be sealed up inside. Even if we are sick and dying from radiation. We can still use heavy equipt and possibly explosives to fix it so they cant escape. Or maybe get a drilling rig and puncture the bunker. Fill it with gasoline and LP. Drop in a stick of dynamite and ring their bells!

Yes and the republicans are just as bad. There isn't any viable political or ballot box solution. The Elected officials from both partys are hell bent on furthering the UN and NWO agenda 21.

Yes. I wanted to show just how many jobs it takes to keep up with population growth and the article I used to show how bad the market actually is didn't have the information I needed. The article I used actually had the numbers from 80,000 all the way up to 224,000 so I went somewhere in the middle.

Let me see if I got this correct. You could not find the information you needed, so you just made up a number, and I quote called it a "fact".

"In fact, the number of people reporting they had jobs, a measure based on a separate survey from the one used to calculate payroll gains, actually fell by 115,000 in August"

What was the source of the, "separate survey" you are referring to?

I see why you would want to use a separate survey other than

"calculate payroll gains"

Here is why.

ADP's proprietary private payrolls jobs report shows a gain of 176,000 private sector jobs for August 2013. ADP revised July's job figures down by 2,000 to 198 thousand jobs.

The U.S. needs about 115,000 jobs per month, minimum just to keep up with population growth, with the same lousy, artificially low, labor participation rates.

Before you get to hung up on the headlines of the vanishing work force, keep this in mine,

The jobs report follows other recent economic reports that were considerably more rosy, including one Wednesday from the Federal Reserve's "beige book" which found the economy was expanding at a "modest to moderate" pace. The Commerce Department recently revised second-quarter economic growth upward to an annualized rate of 2.5 percent.

[
Additionally, the Institute for Supply Management said Thursday its survey of purchasing managers – the businesspeople who buy supplies for their companies – climbed to 58.6 percent in August from 56 percent in July. That's the highest level since the index was created in 2008.

Keep in mine, this rate has been dropping for a decade, and as Forbes Magz. says biggest part of it is baby boomers retiring.

The bottom line Boy Barney is that in no time in history has the United States experienced more people on welfare than they do now. Even with 99 weeks of Obama unemployment the unemployment rate is extremely high and if the truth were to be told it would be more than double the number told due to all of those who have just given up and dropped out of the job market thanks to the worse administration in the history of this country. Face it Obama SUCKS!

Whatever makes you feel better. The problems with predictions, especially government agency predictions, is that they don't mean squat. The only thing that counts is the data that gets recorded AFTER the event being predicted takes place. So if some statistic combined with a favorable prediction of something that hasn't even happened yet makes you feel better, I don't have a problem with it. The REALITY is the economy sucks and so does president Obama and his administration and everything shows it. The factors that look good for our economy are being manipulated. Interest rates are artificially low due to the $85 billion being pumped into the bonds market by the feds. What would the stock market look like of we took 5 years of $85 billion per year out? The unemployment rate is due to more people dropping out of the market each month and not more jobs being created. And, no, I'm not implying that Obama is the only president in our history that has ever manipulated economic data. He's just the worst.
