You have presented an interesting situation.
YOU are saying that you have less debt than you ever have, and "doing all we can just to keep our heads above the water".
Since you have not mention that any of the hardships you are experiencing is of your own volition then one can only presume the problems you are experiencing is 100% fault of the US government.
Or you could easily conclude from your contempt for Barney an obvious Democrat, it is 100% the Democrat parties fault of your woes.
On the surface it appears you and Barney both have some distinct views on politics. Just some have to take a cheap personal shot for no other reason than a difference of opinion on policy.
conclusions shouldn't come to you quite so easily very often, because I have a feeling you don't enjoy being wrong very much...and on this one, you are certainly wrong.
Well, partially...I do hold the abuse of power in our government responsible for many woes that have befallen middle America today.
But here is the typical, blind anger, see what you want to see even though I have never suggested it, response from you that makes you embarrassingly wrong. You and Barney really should remove your jaded glasses when you read opinions of others, and knock that chip off of your shoulders so that you can see we are all entitled to our opinions...without a preconceived idea by you and Barney of what you think we have said as opposed to what's actually been said.
I hold the Federal Government as a whole responsible for the mess we are in right now, and the bigger mess that is yet to come.
You see, I firmly believe that you are what you have been becoming.
America didn't get into the trouble we are in today, yesterday...last year...or for that matter, even a decade ago.
When politicians began to decide their own greed trumped the good of the people, that was all she wrote.
This has been years in the making, and the future is looking dimmer by the minute.
Barney goes on the immediate attack of anyone he decides is 'against' him and a 'party', and I am frankly tired of it. He is worse than a spoiled child, and I'm thinking you very well may be, too.

Funny how you don't have a problem with with years of Barneys repeated fits of cursing and name-calling, yet feel the need to reprimand some sarcasm that strikes an all-too personal note.
If you want to see real 'attacks' just glance back over some cussing, stomping, name-calling fits by good ole Barn.
How about the school yard rule,
"Don't dish it, if you can't take it!"

Thank you for understanding the obvious but why do you keep discussing? We are becoming a nation of part timers and temporary employees and you illustrious leader is content with it. When less than half of the available workforce has employment, non liberals see a problem.
If this is a huge problem with them (non liberals) why has the amount of job bills that have came out of the 113Th house of Representatives been zero and job killing sequestration is a constant them among the non liberals.

If you've noticed the sequestration has not reduced spending on any of obama's interests, Michelle's travels, just slowed down what the common man

So the Obama administration has spent more than any other administration in history, and they lost 85 billion out of a 2.9 trillion budget. That's 2%. We had more jobs with a lower budget under almost every other president except maybe Carter. Using that rationale, the sequester was a job saving event.

"We had more jobs with a lower budget under almost every other president except maybe Carter"

How do explain George W. Bush

BLS data show that 4.4 million jobs were lost in Bush's last year in office, 4.3 million more jobs were lost during Obama's first 13 months due to the recession he inherited and Bush increased the national debt by over five trillion.

I have said on numerous occasions that I didn't think Bush was a good president. That being said, what does that have to do with Barack Obama? His presidency started mid January 2009 and everything past that point is his to own, good and bad. Predictably, to anyone who paid attention in 2008 to Obama's campaign, there is far more bad than good that has come out of his presidency. Obama got a package on the day he took office that said AMERICA on it, he did exactly what he said he was going to do back in 2008 and the results we see today are because of his policies. You or any other liberal wouldn't be saying a word if America was going strong today, but you and every other blind sheep only heard what Obama said the outcomes of his policies would be. You didn't think for yourself. Apparantly, your still believing Obama's lies because your still supporting him when you can look around and things are nowhere near the way Obama promised. Obama made a laundry list of things that were wrong with America as he was pointing at Bush so he knew what he was getting. That means there are no excuses for this president so quit making them for him.

I didn't like Bush, and I don't like Obama, but the economy was in a freefall when Bush left office, it continued downward for a while and then leveled off. We had the best economy in the world when Bush went in office, and one of the worst when he left.

We didn't get downgraded until Obama. The hate between groups wasn't near as intense until Obama. The debt and deficit wasn't near as large until Obama. The number of people on government assistance wasn't this high until Obama. So now what's so great about Obama? I'd like to know since I've been asking now for 5 years and still don't have any concrete answers. Just delusions.

Face it, as long as the president is not a homophobic, religious, racial bigot you will remain a independent and not like any president.

Drones to kill American citizens .

HUMMMMMM, before there death I often heard many speak of those citizens as terrorist.

Wonder why, lets take a look and see..........

Anwar al-Awlaki -said that he taught and trained Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian-born "underwear bomber, who was going to bomb Northwest Airlines Flight #523 on Dec. 25, 2009.

"often seen with his hand raised, his finger pointing, his long, thin black beard, sitting-crossed legged behind a podium, preaching, lecturing and calling for jihad against America"

Samir Khan-- In 2009, Khan left home for Yemen and became a part of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. It was here, again using his computer and literary skills, that Khan started "Inspire," the influential online jihadist magazine. Khan was killed in the same air strike that killed Anwar al-Awlaki.

Jude Kenan Mohammad-In 2009, a North Carolina jury indicted him and others on conspiracy charges to commit terrorism. As an American citizen, with a U.S. passport and American accent, he was the type of person U.S. authorities feared -- and al Qaeda sought -- to wage jihad in America.

Face it, this is the language of a liberal that can't stand on the merits of the socialistic Democratic party so he/she resorts to name calling and personal degredation. I will go toe to toe with you on any political issue, and I'll win because your whole party is based on lies, smoke screens, and propoganda designed to sway uninformed voters. You can't win a debate of ideas with that platform but I would welcome the challenge for you to try. So if you want to step off of the playground, get away from the "yo mama" arguments, and have a substantive debate then bring it on. If not, then you don't deserve the time of day because your just wasting everyone's time with your misplaced anger.

Hero, before you can expect me to take you seriously, or anyone else with a half of brain you should refrain such post as above.

Let me point something out to you,

"socialistic Democratic party".

Those are your words, and then you make this remark,

"so he/she resorts to name calling and personal degrAdation"

WTF did you mean by,

"socialistic Democratic party"

if it was not an attempt at name calling and personal degradation"

Is that, "toe to toe", enough for you?

All three of America's biggest auto manufacturersóChrysler, GM, and Fordóare stronger today because of President Obama's decisive leadership. GM and Chrysler have repaid their outstanding loans years ahead of schedule, new American cars are inspiring pride, and the auto industry added more than 200,000 jobs in the last three years.
