I suspect notice would be the key word.

Here it is, Co2 is a greenhouse gas, greenhouse gas destroys O-zone, O-zone protects Earth from most incoming UV radiation from the sun while protecting life from DNA-damaging radiation, UV radiation increases earth's surface land temps, more so it's oceans, radiation alters lifeforms. Sea levels rise, desertification increases, worldwide fresh water supplies diminish as Arctic ice disappears.
Solution, cut carbon emissions or deny it exist. Mankind being what it is, denial is of course, the winner....for now.
The problem is, that no ACTUAL data exist that proves this. As a matter of fact the "greenhouse effect" that is supposed to be the culprit in "global warming" So if greenhouse gasses are still being emitted then the ozone should still be disappearing and temps should still be rising but alas the earth is currently cooling. Sorry to break it to you but your believing a lie or better yet a political agenda.

You can also believe chain e-mails and the talking head attention whores or you could look a little deeper.
..........

"I have a better idea to get at the heart of scientific acceptance of climate change: see how many scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals contradict it. Oh look at that, virtually none. Well, I'm sure if we survey scientists, we'll find a huge number of climate specialists who disagree! Wait, no, it turns out about 97% agree with AGW, and as for scientists in general the number is above 80%(I wonder if you would get numbers that high when asking non-physicists about Dark Matter). But I'm sure nationally and internationally recognized bodies of scientists would show more doubt, since we know global warming is wrong, right? Oh wait, looks like there isn't a single significant body of scientists anymore which claims AGW might not be happening.
At what point do you think the vast majority of experts might be more reliable than a handful of skeptics, many with questionable neutrality and closes monetary or ideological ties to industries and front-groups who feel threatened by the specter of climate change regulations? At what point does the certainty become enough to convince you that we should take action? Don't we have a responsibility to base policy on the best available science?"

And apparently you must be reading some voodoo science put out by a conglomerate of industry minded scientist and paid political lackeys whose sole purpose is to confuse a mostly uninformed public not cognizant to the reality that surrounds them..

BTW the O-zone is being deminished.

If there's a lair in the house I'm sure you believe him explicitly.

I'm not to smart , but it seems if the majority of climate science guys says it is true, then you are the one following a political agenda by denying their life's work is true.

Unless maybe you are one of those climate science guys that is in the minority on global warming opinion, spending your Sunday here on Topix.

If you think that scientists and their research results don't follow those who want specific results and their money your kidding yourself.

Of course they do, its highly probable that type make up the majority of the dissenting opinions among their peers.

Right. An investor who wants to prove that greenhouse gasses are eating the ozone and is willing to put up millions of dollars to prove it will give the money to a group of scientists who's preliminary findings show that the results will likely be contradictory to what the investor wants. You do realize that any study can show any results depending on what is controlled for and what isn't? Knowing that, you still think the data is "straight forward"? Really?

Don't confuse actual science with politics and the greed politics spawn. If you think that science is driven by a bunch of money grubbers with no consciousness of furthering mankind's quest for knowledge, then you truly don't understand scientific research at all.

Every great scientific discovery was challenged by those incapable of understanding the possibilities surrounding those discoveries. If listened to, those detractors would still have us believe the Earth was flat and one could buy their way into Heaven.

Lol. Global warming!
Everything runs in cycles. Ever watch the weather and see the record highs and lows? Most of the time those records were set quite some time ago. Yet, if we get a record high temp now, people wanna say its because of global warming, right?

What if they are correct?

I believe science can and has greatly benefited mankind. I don't believe in an all or none principle. Where I question science is when it goes hand-in-hand with political agendas such as global warming and greenhouse gasses goes. Then when there is profit to be made from those "scientific" findings like the profits Al Gore is enjoying I really question the validity and you should too.

Do you think they are correct? What if they aren't? Can we fiscally afford that at this point and time? With all of the lies or incorrect predictions from the science community can you with 100% certainty and confidence pour all of the financial resources into the "green" movement that it's going to take to make it work? I can't. Heck, they can't even predict the temperature more than a day out. How accurate do you think they will be in their predictions of today about our climate in 50 years? Believe what you see and not what you hear.

Then you should also question the validity of those who profit by denyeing global warming, the Koch Brothers and big oil readily come to mind.
