The decline of the USA is due to the decline in the character, morals and core values of the people in the USA. You can trace all this back to liberalsim.. |

You know your getting old when folks comment on your alligator shoes and your barefoot! also one for the women You know your getting old when you take your bra off and it straightens the wrinkles in your face.

yes there is some truth to your statement. However we have always had about the same percentage of bad versus good folks ever since the beginning. Most folks are not enitrely good or bad most folks are just decient. I think our economic woes started with roosevelt and when the folks really began in earnest to vote themselves money goods& services from the public coffers. By you answer im conculding that you agree the USA is in decline? Do you agree things are not getting better? |
|
I agree we are in decline. We will be a third world country one day soon. We have let the left dictate the moral compass of this country and it will cost us dearly in the end. We are all to blame.. |
|
No I dont think we are any more to blame than the water that seeps into the cracks in rock then freezes is to blame for the rock breaking. We for the most part played by the rules and those in charge changed the rules. Those who where frugal & saved seen their savings eroded by inflation. those who built small buisnesses seen their buisnesses fail because of the big corporations not wanting any small fish in the large pond. Believe it or not the UN New World Order long term plan has been in place before we where even born. Who we elected didnt matter they all belonged to the same secret society. The US goverment has paid for the UN and taken orders from the UN ever since Roosevelts New Deal. stick a fork in the USA its done. Thats just the way it is. its not the fault of the common everyday person thats just trying to provide for their family and get ahead. I dont call the prusuit of happiness or if you will greed a bad thing. Before the New Deal Many greedy folks built buisnesses that employed lots of workers. To be realistic the USA has never been iron clad and bullett proof. We have been on shaky ground the whole time. We had a up & down 200 + year run and now its pretty much over. Its time for the nation to collapse fall apart and be divided up into several smaller countries . We are headed toward the same solution as the soviet union had forced on them. Its gonna be bad likely will be civil unrest followed by martial law them civil wars followed by race wars & ethnic cleansing. Our children & grandchildren will never have the good things we took for granted. |

I never said he could fix everything if he had been elected. But he would have had veto power. He also would have had a huge microphone to speak to the American people. Most never got his message because the media prevented that. |
His veto power wouldnt ever have been used. Ole paul brought plenty of pork hometo his district. You bought in to his telling you what you wanted to hear. That what all politicians do. paul was very good at lying to win elections. thats why he was elected to 12 terms. The fact is there isnt now and never will be a ballott box or political fix. And the direction we are heading isnt working. So where & how does it end? It ends in econmic collapse, social upheaval, civil unrest, Martial law, civil war, race war, ethnic cleansing, and unbelievable suffering. when the USA is down and weakened any other country that thinks they can will attack and try to take over the USA. there are enough people in china or india to use as cannon fodder for a invasion and they could kill every single person on the US soil. the US by doing the UN bidding has made enemies of a lot of nations. those folks are ruthless and willing to die. |

They won't do that because there is a "gun behind every blade of grass" in America. Guess which candidate for president has the most gun friendly voting and legislating record, to ensure there remains a gun, or two, behind ever blade of grass? The Second Amendment: Individual or Collective Right? Paul probably has the most unrivalled record among all the 2012 presidential candidates for his advocacy of the Second Amendment for individuals. In 2007, Paul introduced the H.R. 1096: Second Amendment Protection Act of 2007 in Congress. His intent behind the bill was explained in an earlier address to the House. "Mr. Speaker, I rise to restore the right the founding fathers saw as the guarantee of every other right by introducing the Second Amendment Protection Act. This legislation reverses the steady erosion of the right to keep and bear arms by repealing unconstitutional laws that allow power-hungry federal bureaucrats to restrict the rights of law-abiding gun owners. Specifically, my legislation repeals the five-day waiting period and the "instant" background check, which enables the federal government to compile a database of every gun owner in America. My legislation also repeals the misnamed ban on "semi-automatic" weapons, which bans entire class of firearms for no conceivable reason beside the desire of demagogic politicians to appear tough on crime. Finally, my bill amends the Gun Control Act of 1968 by deleting the "sporting purposes" test, which allows the Treasury Secretary to infringe on second amendment rights by classifying a firearm (handgun, rifle, shotgun) as a "destructive device" simply because the Secretary believes the gun to be "non-sporting." January 9, 2003, US House of Representatives ... Legislations Paul opposes any attempts by the government to 'disarm' the citizenry. This is one of the many quotes he has made over the years concerning the issue. "In our own country, we should be ever vigilant against any attempts to disarm the people, especially in this economic downturn. I expect violent crime to rise sharply in the coming days, and as states and municipalities are even more financially strained, the police will be even less able or willing to respond to crime. In many areas, local police could become more and more absorbed with revenue generating activities, like minor traffic violations and the asset forfeiture opportunities of non-violent drug offenses. Your safety has always, ultimately been your own responsibility, but never more so than now. People have a natural right to defend themselves. Governments that take that away from their people should be highly suspect." December 9, 2008, Ron Paul on Gun Control, RonPaul.com |

Nevertheless, Paul soldiered on, and aided by his small army of vocal and enthusiastic supporters, he stuck to his guns and never wavered from his convictions. Paul is a constitutionalist, and makes no apologies about it. He believes in small governments, non-expansionist foreign policy, gold-backed currency, personal liberty and abolishing federal income taxes. He holds the most conservative voting record in Congress, and he is also the biggest advocate for the dismantling of the Federal Reserves.
http://2012.presidential-candidates.org/Paul/ However small the hope was/is for this country, Paul would have been the BEST hope. You are right...we're now doomed. |

"Ole paul brought plenty of pork hometo his district." A payback for the taxes they paid. Should he have done nothing for them? |

It dont matter if there is a gun behind every blade of grass. There wont ever Be a cohesive opposition to a goverment gun confiscation, there will not be a patriotic revolition. its gonna be like this there are laws already in place that allow the confiscation of firearms. folks with criminal records folks with mental issues. during a natural disaster or civil disturbance. The goverment could declare marshal law. they could declare martial in just one city or local . They are not above creating a false flag attack to justify tramplimg our rights.and the military do a sweep and take the guns. then they move on taking just little bits at a time. The wars in Iraq & afganastan are good training. They disarmed law abiding citizens after Katrina. And paul should have set an example and not added to the fiscal responsibility. He talked the talk but didnt walk the walk.

Funny how YOU are the only one who got his message and EVERYBODY else is stupid. I guess Paul piped his message directly into your house. Damn girl we ALL got his message, the same crap you got and we rejected it! ALL Presidents have VETO POWER! |
|
On two occasions Ron Paul voted NO on protecting gun manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits for product misuse.(That means someone shoots somebody and then the victim sues the gun manufacturer because obviously it is their fault) In 2003 (HR 1036) and in 2005 (S 397). It seems interesting especially considering in 2004 he voted YES to restrict frivolous lawsuits (HR 4571). |

Judged: 1 Then he is no different from everybody else on the Hill. If that is acceptable to you then all this waste that goes back to states is also acceptable! |

There is nothing wrong with hope. However their comes a time when its prudent to face the facts and realize when something is hopeless. Its not that were doomed. Its that what we once had is gone and replaced by something that cant possibly continue without ending in disaster.Myself Im persistant and never give entirely give up If something isnt working or making headway Ill not throw good valuable time ,resources & money away to try and rescue a hopeless endavor. As the song states ya gootta know when to hold them. know when to fold them, know when to walk away. and know when to run. The USA was in a one time anomaly after the second world war. We avoided conflict on our soil. We had the factories, workers & natural resources to build everything. europe was bombed out. and we became the producers for the entire world. If someone wanted anything they came here. Nowhere else could you get anything better made at a better price than the USA. but we had a archilles heel. We where too dependent on foriegn oil. the fake jimmy carter gas shortage was the beginning of our downward slide. now american products are not really needed anymore. The rest of the world are not wanting our goods anymore. So what happens now? Our lifestyles and goverment should have become smaller and less costly. Instead in the face of shrinking demand our goverment & lifestyles exploded and grew and it was all done on credit. We got too big for our britches. And we still refuse to diet enough to fit back in them. So pretty soon we will face the music. |
