We might consider selling it but you would need to call us to discuss it with my husband. He has owned it for many years. The phone number is on the sign on the front door of the house.

We do rent to unmarried couples but our past experience is not good with just a boyfriend and girlfriend wanting to live together. Need good past rental references, non smokers, and no pets.

Nonsmokers and no pets? You've just eliminated 95% of all Pocahontas renters! Ha!

We may cut the renters down, but that is a good thing when it comes to smoking. If they have pets then they really need to consider buying their own home. We don't like to deal with fleas and dog hair. It isn't fair to the future renters who don't have pets. Our houses are clean and we want to keep them that way.

maybe if you treated your tenants fairly there wouldnt be "future" renters...i've lived in the same rental for over 10 yrs and have always been treated well by the owner and he has respected my wish to have three dogs in the house.

That's just plain nasty! People with pets don't realize how smelly they really are. Even the people and their clothes stink when they go out. Same with smokers.

Thank you Bubba. I agree. We have several houses and our renters have lived in our houses for at least three to 20 years. Tthe reason this house is empty after three years of renting is because the couple is now building their own home. I can say that a house with three dogs in it is probably not a clean house like ours. We want clean renters for a clean house!
