Why don't you take your ass to a meeting. You don't even know what they do.

Check Sharp and Randolph co . Old fashion county fairs are a think of the past. If you can do better show up at the next meeting . Put up or shut up . They all work hard for no pay or praise . People like you bitch but don't do anything to help.

Biggest car show in Northeast Arkansas . Over 175 cars. Biggest PRCA Rodeo in Northeast Arkansas . Over $ 20,000 gate for two nights. Very good livestock show for kids in our county schools.

Sounds like "Guest " is a member of that board and they too know it is the worst I have every seen .There couldn't have been 20 people in the ride area . What a waste ...Get new members that have a little more on the ball.I won't go back.

it gets worse every year. how many rides are there? maybe 6 or 7. The rodeo hasn't been near as good like it was in the past. there's some livestock and i remember when that thing used to be packed along with the cattle barn and it may have about 4 in there. it's just goin down hill. the pioneer days and lawrence county fair have been outdoing randolph county for quite a few years now. and pioneer days isn't even a week long.

Im sure they are doing their best. to have a really good fair and rodeo you have to pay big bucks just to get them here. sometimes it is good to add new members to any board.

If your wanting bigger carnival companies or bigger rodeo events to come to Pocahontas they're going to charge an entrance fee. Randolph co is one of the few left that offer free admission to the fair. I personally wouldn't mind paying especially if its going to improve the grounds and get bigger attractions in. I was however disappointed in the lack of participation this year in the educational building. But, that not the fair boards fault. And the fair board work hard- year round- so a big thanks to them for all they do!

"lawrence county fair have been outdoing randolph county for quite a few years now"

ridiculous bs statement.
went last year for first time on a nice Friday nite.
was shocked at the small number of exhibits, entries, stuff on display, and crowd.

Hello, how is everyone doing! Well let's see if we can help matters out. I would like to see the school buy it for future plans. Years ago, the fair board bought land beside the high school football field. Maybe something could be put in place. Move the rodeo arena back away from Thomasville. just ideal !! I think the Fair Board is doing a great job. Free Fair, Bar-B-Que and seeing my friends. Thanks!

For one thing it should be at the end of Sept. instead of during this 98 degree heat, the animals suffer and so do the people. These fairs are becoming a thing of the past anyway.

I was just wondering, would the fair board sell the land and for how much? Thanks!

Fair boards have to work around the state fair. livestock so the winners can go to state. what I have been told. I sure hope you're wrong about the fairs being a thing of the past. fair board does work hard but it never hurts to add new to an old board.

I just want to help, I believe that you could find a good Carnival to come up from the North or South. How about surf the net? Blue Star Amusement is booking for next year. Campy's Amusement is booking next year. Just type in small town fair's. Do research or homework .. The web makes it more easy for help in finding anything in the world as that as a Carnival search. Need to have your board meetings to bring a great Carnival to town. Begin your in your other counties to see if they would want a change. Need to start now where you can book them. Thanks Mrs Cotton.. My family enjoyed the fair this year job well done!! We would like to see a change in a Carnival.
