Can anyone tell me the history of this place and just how deep it really is. Would really like to know gorgeous place. Ppl are really trashing it though. What a shame.
no one's business on depth, how pretty, etc.
WHAT were you even doing there?
PRIVATELY OWNED = NO TRESPASSING = KEEP OUT = mean nothing to you?

Anything to start some shit. Was just asking a question. If you don't have any answers but would rather start an argument do it somewhere else. If anyone knows any info about this place please let me know. I tried to look it up on Randolph County Library Archives found nothing. Just real interested. Thanks. No negative feed back please.

they're called rock quarries.

local PRIVATE owner dug and blew up and crushed some rock to sell decades ago. left a big PRIVATE hole on his land. springs and/or rain fill it part way with water. dozens of them in the county. nothing special, just PRIVATELY OWNED holes in the ground. some are big, some are smaller. some have more water than others.

they are very dangerous PRIVATE areas and usually POSTED against TRESPASSING for many obvious reasons.
