In the spot where the hotel Sterling stood, they should build a replica wooden ship of the USS Wilkes Barre navy light cruiser ship, then turn the inside into a multipurpose retail store. this will also honor the world war 2 navy veterans.

They should make one out of cheese and sell crackers nearby. The proceeds would fund English as a second language programs.

I was thinking about a small diner/coffee shop with a "Welcome to Wilkes Barr/city history center. With off street parking, and some fairly upscale apartments on upper floors.
