School Districts Limiting Substitute Hours in N.C. Because of Obamacare
February 25, 2014
In school districts across North Carolina, substitute teachers are having their work time cut below 30 hours a week to save school districts from having to pay for their health insurance under the new Obamacare mandates, WITN-NC reports.
Weve got a good number of subs who have come to rely on substituting as their primary source of income, Brock Letchworth of Pitt County Schools said.Unfortunately when you cut hours you know youre affecting their livelihood. Its not something we want to do but its something that were forced to do because of these mandates that have been put on us.

Tom Corbett will win in a landslide. You heard it here first. Read it and weep you parasites.

OH WOW ! ANOTHER RIGHT WING NAZI WEBSITE.......LMAO BASHING OBAMACARE WITH LIES!
National Review sometimes endorses a candidate during the primary election season. Editors at National Review have said, "Our guiding principle has always been to select the most conservative viable candidate." This statement echoes what has come to be called "The Buckley Rule". In a 1967 interview, in which he was asked about the choice of presidential candidate, Buckley said, "The wisest choice would be the one who would win.... I'd be for the most right, viable candidate who could win."
The following candidates were officially endorsed by National Review:
1956: Dwight Eisenhower
1960: no endorsement
1964: Barry Goldwater
1968: Richard Nixon
1972: John M. Ashbrook
1976: Ronald Reagan
1980: no endorsement
1984: no endorsement (they endorse in primaries, not general elections. Ronald Reagan was the incumbent with no serious challengers.)
1988: George H.W. Bush
2000: George W. Bush
2004: George W. Bush
2008: Mitt Romney
2012: no endorsement

And you wonder why the right keeps losing presidential elections !!

You sound hysterical and irrational.
Unfortunately Obamacare is forcing North Carolina school systems to reduce the hours of employees. That's the truth--not a lie--and is why it's in the news:
ENC Schools Cutting Substitute Teacher Hours Due To Affordable Care Act
Feb 25, 2014
The new Affordable Care Act rules are taking effect, and now substitute teachers in Eastern Carolina are among those feeling the impact.
In order to avoid paying for the health care of substitute teachers, school districts are limiting the number of hours they can work.
Pitt County Schools notified substitute teachers last week that they would only be allowed to work 12 days a month, or 90 hours a month.
According to the Affordable Care Act, once an employee is full time, they must be covered under the companies health care.
David Perry is one of 600 substitute teachers in Pitt County. He says, "This country is supposed to be about putting people to work and they are taking, literally, taking people out of work."
Several other school districts in Eastern Carolina have also already notified substitute teachers of the reduced hours.

Sub teachers in North Carolina ( or any other school district in the country ) get NO BENEFITS at all. That's why they are part time. Even their full time teachers got 1 raise since 2008. Obamacare didn't reduce their hours, the school districts did, that's why it's a lie. Obamacare doesn't reduce anyone's hours, it's the employer that reduces hours. But that cant sink in to you, can it ?
The law states if you have employees that work at least 30 hours a week, you have to give them healthcare, Sub teachers were hardly working 30 hours a week , in fact most weren't,( in North Carolina ) This is just a ploy for any school district to reduce their sub teachers hours to get out of paying their healthcare . If the law states that you have to have a teachers certificate to teach, then you have to follow that law.
Same with Obamacare. follow the law. As in Tennessee and other states , those states are laying off full time teachers to hire more sub teachers so they pay NO healthcare. It's a scam that the schools are using to pay out NO healthcare at all to subs and full time teachers. North Carolina isn't the only state to do this, it's been known since last year. LOL! So keep posting your bullshit on Obamacare cutting hours, he isn't . Obamacare is the LAW, so employees can cry and whine all they want to, give them healthcare or reduce their hours, the employers choice NOT Obama's........ And I bet the sub teachers would love to have some benefits on their job. Millions have benefited from Obamacare,it's here to stay and it aint going away, it's benefitting millions of Americans ,the lastest numbers I got were over 10 million so far , including people on Medicare and Medicaid .
PS..... look up different schools in the country, this is old news,,,,,,,,,,where were you when GW Bush was losing 800,000 jobs a month, it sure wasn't job cuts from Obamacare....... LMAO!

From Freebeacon's website.
Florida Democrat: Without Immigration Reform, Where Will We Get Our Landscapers and Maids?
February 25, 2014
Florida Democratic congressional candidate Alex Sink said immigration reform was important at a Tuesday debate because, without it, it would be difficult for employers to find people to clean hotel rooms and do landscaping.
Immigration reform is important in our country, she said.We have a lot of employers over on the beaches that rely upon workers and especially in this high-growth environment, where are you going to get people to work to clean our hotel rooms or do our landscaping? We dont need to put those employers in a position of hiring undocumented and illegal workers.
Evidently, without this reform, these blue-collar jobs will fall into the hands of illegal aliens.

Jeb Bush may be the GOP's only savior.....
#56097 Feb 26, 2014
The dems have no candidate, no name recognition and no alternative plan and very little cash. The vast majority of voters that are not rabid democrat mouth pieces agree with what Corbett has done. All the noise about Corbett is coming from a small minority of loudmouths funded by union money. The same happened in Wisconsin as is going to happen in Pa. Corbett will be reelected in a landslide and there's nothing you can do about it. Enjoy.
#56098 Feb 26, 2014
I think your drinking water right out of Lake Erie. Here's is your problem.......You cant pull up ONE website where Corbett has high ratings as a Governor, secondly he's behind all the polls for re election. Third, he doesn't charge the gas drilling companies any extraction tax , where as all other states do.
Pa needs that tax money that could mount in millions of dollars. Fourth, the gas drilling companies have given him money for his campaign that totaled in the millions. Corbett is all in favor of polluting underground water across the state of Pa and discharging fracking polluted water in streams, creeks and rivers across Pa.
Fifth,Corbett raised gas tax on January 1, 2014 to 9 cents a gallon, then another 9 cents on Jan 2015, then another hike of 12 cents a gallon in 2016. WOW!
Sixth, Corbett covered up child molester Jerry Sandusky and turns his head .
Not a bad resume if you want to lose another election ! LMAO!
Corbett's ratings now are as bad as GW Bush's was when Bush and his war crime left in 2009.
#56099 Feb 26, 2014
Just what we need Jeb Bush and Sarah Palin as his VP..........LMAO..
Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel..........Maybe Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck have a chance in 2016? LMAO! If FOX news says they have a chance who am I not to believe them ! LMAO!

Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett is country's 'most vulnerable'?
USA Today has deemed Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett "Americas most vulnerable governor." Corbett, a Republican in his first term, has seven Democrats lined up to try to boot him from office.
A Quinnipiac University poll released today showed York County businessman Tom Wolf posting the greatest margin of victory over Corbett from the Democratic field. Wolf would defeat Corbett 52-33 percent, according to the poll.
USA Today writes:
Just 1 in 4 registered voters in Pennsylvania believe he deserves another term, including less than half of his own party. In December, he earned his worst-ever net approval rating in the Quinnipiac University poll. And that number was generous compared to another fall survey which tracked his approval rating all the way down to 24 percent.
Before this reporter can even rattle off one of those dour statistics, Corbett places his fork down and interrupts. How do you separate, when you ask that question, how do you separate that from how they feel about the country? Because I think its bleed-over from the country. They think the countrys on the wrong track. Its very hard to separate, he contends.
When its noted that his name has been polled specifically and separately from President Barack Obama, Corbett offers up another explanation and an unintentional concession of a failure to communicate.
Corbettt is getting ready to deploy his golden parachute.
