I'm 26 8 year army veteran I served in Iraq for 11 months and I don't want sympathy I just need somewhere to let it out and maybe someone can relate. No one will hire me I went to college for two years and still can't find a job I have nowhere to stay and don't feel like anyone really cares.I put my life on the line and in return I get treated like shit by people who have not a clue what I've been through. A family who doesn't understand a women I love who doesn't and a million docters who just give me a clinical definition for what I know "try some breathing exercises" o and they found a tumor that was cancerous in my intestine besides that anyone relate???I see why soldiers commit suicide

You're not the only one who has gone thru it. Prolly won't be the last. Don't set your sights too high at first. Take any job. Counter work is a start. Be presentable and kind to all and one of the many people you serve may give you a break. Vet Job Fairs are a good thing. Just remember, clean up the act and be friendly and you have a shot. You may feel all on your own but you're not alone.
