Hi, I am from the Stroudsburg area. I was recently in the downtown Wilkes-Barre area on business & i stopped in what seemed to be a locally owned drug store about two minutes over the bridge from the courthouse by a football stadium (sorry dont remember the name just know there was a stadium & aldi supermarket next to it). I purchased some sinus medication & a pack of beef jerky that was hanging by the counter. The jerky was a brand called Red Truck Jerky. I never saw this brand before so thought i would give it a try. It seemed to be a better quality of meat from most of the other jerkys i normally purchase. I would definitely like to buy this product again but i am not in the Wilkes-Barre area much. Has anyone else tried this product or does anyone know where else i can get it in the area? I am assuming this is a new brand as i purchase my fair share of jerky but this is the 1st. time i have comne across this brand. If anyone has any info. as to where i can purchase this locally please share...

The Drug store you are describing sounds like it is probably Pierce drugs on pierce st. Kingston. I Have never been in there so i cant tell you for sure but it is next to wyoming valley west stadium & aldis like you stated & i have never heard of that brand either but i am not really too much of a jerky buyer. Hope i at least helped you with the location you originally found it. Try calling them or something maybe they can tell you who else has it or where they get it from.... Doesnt hurt to ask...

W-B Visitor..... I think I saw this in U.S. Gas on Market St. Kingston... They had a strip of 5-10 bags hanging by the Jack Links when I was in there Monday... Red & yellow bags... Must have just got it... maybe I will take your advice & pick up a bag someday. The pharmacy you say you purchased it in originally does sound like Pierce Drugs like Steven P. Said...

Never had it. Never saw it. But one thing i can say is Jack Links is horrible. The first bag of Jack Links i got was my last, My dogs treats look & smell better. Wild Bills is pretty good. Will keep my eye out for this one.I only eat jerky once in a while but will let you know if i see it anywhere..

There are much better brands out there than that. I bought jack links once & will never again. tasted like cardboard.

Out of curiosity I went to US Gas & did find the jerky you mentioned. I bought 1 package. It was pretty good quality. I usually buy jack links, oberto or wild bills. Red truck seemed a lot moister & more like a piece of beef instead of pressed together . I would definitely buy it again. Thanks for the information people.
Wilkes-Barre visitor. US Gas is on Market St. Kingston. Over the market st. Bridge from wilkes-barre. They definitely have it. I have never been in Pierce drugs so I can't confirm that for you but that sounds like the store you are describing. Hope this helps you. Thanks for the info.

Pantry Quick. Carey Ave. Wilke-Barre has it.
I live down the St. from them. I just started noticing it about a week or two ago.

I bought a bag at Uni-Mart on Wyoming Ave. in Exeter at the end of Schooley Ave. I usually purchase Jack Links or Wild Bills & this was very good in comparison. Like Wilkes-Barre visitor stated it seemed to be a better quality of meat than what most jerkys normally are. Lots of flavor. Might just be my new "go to" jerky. I will be buying more of this. Thanks for the post W-B visitor.
