I live down the street from this Apt. and have seen people going in and out of that place. I beleive the boys story and feel this 23 year old saw an easy way to get money for his own stuff, after all who would beleive a 12 year old if he had help in lying from a fellow drug dealer.
Now that the parents know what their 12 year old is doing, they should remind him getting punched in the face and robbed is the least of his problems compared to getting caught with it on him. As a parent, rehab would be the next step for my child if he was mine, and parenting classes would be for me. Maybe the courts should have the parents tested to see if this drug problem is comming from somewhere other then outside the home.
