"The apparent low bid was $519,437 from Harry DePue Inc. of Bangor.
That's $75,437 more than the $444,000 the county got in federal funds to repair the bridge."
Imagine if the commissioners were not unjustly firing people and getting sued for it, they'd have the $75,437 now, wouldn't they. They pissed 10 times this amount away in court battles and settling lawsuits. Way to spend the taxpayers money!!!

They could alway sell Packerton sewers, er I mean yards to pay the differance, what did they expect to make money on the deal?
