Potholes cause auto damage; road crews should fill them in

Did you know fifty-seven percent of Pennsylvania's roadways are in poor or mediocre condition? As a young and inexperienced driver, it is quite inconvenient to attempt to avoid potholes to prevent damage to my car. Full Story

Ironic that many of the road crews that repair potholes are the same ones neglecting them or actually causing damage to them by over and/or incorrectly plowing them.

Lack of road maintenance is a big issue including putting sealer in small cracks and seams. Minor holes and/or divets turn into big holes then pot holes. Unrepaired damage to roads period allows debris ie stones to be dragged around on them like sand paper on glass.

Some road crews actually wind up repairing utility man hole problems like sinking manholes are not forcing the utility to raise or lower their holes to road level.

Then during the plowing of winter storms many roads are over plowed or plowed incorrectly. One street around here they started plowing with less than an inch of snow on the ground, nothing but metal plow blade grinding up the street. Then many plow blades are set too low or not pitched right to match the crown of the road. Too low means a plow blade is catching high spots ripping up the road. Plows frequently run too fast again blade hits a high spot at high speed it rips it up. Higher speeds can cause bouncing as well which can force a plow blade into the street gouging it.

Is it job security or is it manufactured job security for road crews.

Even more ironic is your hard-on one day for causing mayhem via a snow plow and today your law and order blathering regarding the neanderthals who run the equipment.
What happened? somebody pull your pants down?

Haven't you done enough of damage to this forum? I see you are still a sexually repressed loser. Get help, the sooner the better.

No you and yours burned this. It started as a nice place to discuss many many topics. Most users had conversations related to topic although is usually strayed to food (cabin, lol). Some of us acknowledged when we were wrong, others got all butthurt and started having posts and threads deleted. Loose brought more to this forum than you ever did or could. Hope you found another to wreck, seems that is your only enjoyment. That and spouting your imagined superiority. Looks like this group was on to you all along, See ya loser.

That's OK. I have two cords of wood back in the woods that I could not get to the house due to deap snow. The cold snap will harden the ground after the melt so I can bring it out. I hope.

Although some of us had a difference of political and social opinions, the forum still remained strong. It was only when mr sexual repression entered that this forum fell apart. He did the same exact thing to the Milford forum, but I notice that you are still here on this stagnant forum and still nasty as ever. For you to give any merit to his filthy mouth says that you are also trash and you deserve each other. Most people are superior to garbage like that. Carry on with your empty life sitting on this forum all day. I, like many others, have more meaning in my day. Instead of wondering WHO deleted posts, figure out WHY they were deleted by the forum. Most people are repulsed by lazy, foul mouthed losers. Hopefully one day you'll figure that out. Your argument is weak and so are you. I'm out of here.

Fired up the arch Sunday afternoon and boiled up over 25 gallons of sap. I need to make a few adjustments before the big flow starts. Have 26 taps in and hope to make 35 by next weekend. Yesterday I had the grandkids out tapping a few trees. The granddaughter just let the sap pour from the tap into her mouth. I think I may be getting them hooked! ;-)
