This child's mother should own the school after this incident. She definitely has grounds to file a lawsuit.

Children don't differentiate between adults in positions of authority over them. A teaching aide is the same as a teacher who is the same as a principal who is the same as a police officer who is the same as Mom or Dad.
This child will always fear a repeat of this type of situation in her life. She is an abuse victim now. She will always fear making someone angry because she will remember this incident. In her mind, she may think she caused this adult to hurt her.
Where was the teacher who should have been monitoring the aide's interactions with the child?

although i am not saying it did/didnt happen....BUT...havent we all (as parent/brother/sister/cousin etc..) said...put that stick down right now or i will beat you to death with it?(or something like that....you get my point right??) aybe it didnt happen like it was told it happened. maybe it did....but just how long does one think hole imprints are going to last???? GIVE me a break.
