There are three baby racoons in my tree. There seems to be no mother.

Two of the three rescued raccoons passed away, unfortunately. The third just started eating solids (scrambled eggs!) yesterday, and is doing very well. When he is ready, we will be released in a safe, wooded area in Southern CT.
The DEP would have killed them and tested them for rabies had they gotten their hands on them, so it was best that they didn't step in. He's like a little dog, and purrs when you pet him. |
