I know Vinny Festa personally. He is one of Plymouths finest gentlemen....honest sincere and caring. He will be one of the finest mayors that Plymouth has ever had !

Certainly, everyone can agree that the present administration is a complete and utter farce. If the last election was to be held today (after seeing what a failure the elected GOP candidates have been.), these fools never would have been elected. They campaigned in the most negative way I've ever seen, while at the time, Mayor Covello was hard at work, and assumed that his actions would speak louder than the outright lies being told by his opponent.

TIME FOR A CHANGE, PLYMOUTH ! Show your intelligence by voting them all out, and replacing the current idiots with Mayor Festa's team !!!!!!!!!!

Just a brief followup on my first comment. I am a registered Republican. I lived in Terryville/Plymouth for many years and recently relocated to East Haddam. A Republican who sees the abject failure of the Republican elected official in Plymouth.

Proud to support the Democratic party candidates in Plymouth, I am John Hoffnagle.

Mr. Hoffnagle's problem is more with a former employee who went into business for herself and has been very successful, and who happens to be an active Member of the Republican Town Committee. He has not been seen in town in years and has no idea what has transpired in that time. Mr. Festa, Mr. Covello and company were ousted because of financial irresponsibility, because they were attempting to close down the ambulance corps., because they lied about the environmental condition of property they wanted the town to buy, because they raised taxes, because they did not sell one lot in the business park, and because of a scandal in the mayor's office involving the receptionist, Covello's own daughter-in-law. Oh, and ill treatment of town board and commission volunteers, to the point where one was actually put through a mock trial and had to spend thousands of his own dollars on legal representation. No, the people spoke loud and clear two years ago. Honesty was nowhere to be found in the west wing, but now there is honesty, hard work, smiling faces, and a lot being accomplished. Mayor Krampitz deserves another term, one in which she doesn't have to spend time cleaning up the mess left by Covello/Festa. Oh, the gains Plymouth will make!
