any really good lawyers that are cheap

I need a really good lawyer to help me. I am accused of a crime I did not do. I don't have very much money. I just need some help.

Public defenders are a good route to go as well. Believe it or not but they really do win cases.

[FYI]

You have to prove that you are indigent in order to be appointed a public defender.

You get what you pay for, but if you have a good case, court appointed can handle it. Good luck O' Innocent One. I will tell you this, if it is DUI related, you had better get a good one. Those rules are pretty much black and white, with little lee-way. It will cost you on that.

isnt "good" and "lawyer" an oxymoron? they really really really dont belong in the same sentence unless it's something like "good grief, that lawyer is money hungry!"

Do NOT hire an attorney for a DUI. There is no bending the laws in Ky. All they do is move you up the list faster for about $2000.

If you're guilty, not much can be done. If there are questions, or circumstances, an attorney can help you.
