Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, United States, January 22, 2013: Energy Composites Corporation, with offices in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. appeared in Wisconsin Rapids court today, to defend in a case that charges that the company defaulted on $10,000.00 of debt to The Goodness Company, a Wisconsin Rapids-based marketing firm.
Documents show that Energy Composites Corporation (ECC), entered into agreements with The Goodness Company in April 2010 for the development of a trade show booth design, and the design and printing of a corporate brochure and folder for use at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) industry trade show in May 2010 in Dallas, TX. The Goodness Company performed in accordance with the agreement, and completed the work under a very tight deadline to the satisfaction of company management.
In fact, Energy Composites Corporation President Jamie Mancl sent a letter of testimonial to Goodness in January 2011.“The Goodness Company has become a trusted and reliable marketing partner for Energy Composites Corporation. They always provide a smart, creative and pragmatic approach to marketing and public relations services that captures attention and gets results. When we have needed marketing materials in a pinch, The Goodness Company has come through for us time and again, delivering superior results for our company brochures, print and online advertising, trade show displays and more. We have come to expect lightning fast communication, reliable turnaround times, and consistently excellent work on every project. We rely on The Goodness Company for strategic, no-nonsense marketing advice, and insightful marketing, advertising and PR services. The true mark of a good business partner is that you feel happy to be working with them. With The Goodness Company, we are fortunate to have found such a partner, said Mancl.”
Energy Composites Corporation was invoiced for completed work in May 2010. In emails to The Goodness Company, Energy Composites Corporation CEO Jamie Mancl promised payment to The Goodness Company within 1-2 months of the company invoice and apologized for payment delays. Nearly 3 years later, the majority of this debt remains unpaid, and Energy Composites Corporation officials have failed to make any arrangements to pay this debt.
“We are very disappointed that our excellent work has not been compensated as agreed. We performed with great speed and delivered an exceptional quality trade show booth design and brochure package. We took the initiative to attend the trade show to help our client maximize their exposure at the event. In fact, we even paid for the printing work to ensure that the brochures and folders would be completed in time. We have not been reimbursed for these payments as promised, says Patrick Goodness, CEO of The Goodness Company. It is very disappointing when a client that we have worked so hard to please, fails to abide by the terms of our agreement. It is our hope that this client will reach out to pay this debt, and restore our good faith.”
Energy Composites Corporate representatives could not be reached for comment. The company has ten days to contest these charges.
