The many research hours and devotion to a book can not be said until the book comes into place. This will be the reality for Local Montana Cowboy named Colonel R. H. Bain. De Colonel Bain, as many know him in the journalistic world but local and myself we know him as *Monk*.
He came here from Eastern New Mexico and many locals didn't know about this place and thought he was from Mexico, the country.
We thought, what a Trinitarian Monk, from the Order of Melchizedek, in Plentywood?
That's crazy!!!!
He is probably an Arab or a Mexican. I know they called him a rag head and laughed at him, the ignorant farmers at a local bar did. They persecuted this man by stealing from him, breaking his windows, even the Lutheran preacher openly accused him of removing items from their church. He stood his ground and faced all the accusers.
I remember saying, look at that Christ like man with the long beard. He would be seen help people in town, many times with a rosary in hand, praying. He walked even in the weather that was below zero. I seen Monk with his hood on walking up one side and down the other on the parade route just before the parade. So I asked him what he was doing?
He said praying for the people, well that day he won my heart. I have been patiently waiting for him to release this book and the many books he has to come. so are many in the area.
Hey Monk, I yelled out to him in the street, "Your not a bandito are ya?
He Replied "I did come up the Outlaw Trail to Montana from New Mexico Didn't I?
We both laughed!! De Colonel says it gonna be a Musgave Kid X-mas, the books will be out soon from Great Falls, Montana. Word has it they will cost $20.05 .. a fair price.
Know that I am putting a few of my relatives gifts as being this collectible book..
Hey Colonel Bain, ya gonna sign My Book? I hope so!! lol
