Well lets c here... so Kentucky has proclaimed itself to be irrelevant over and over again... are we going to keep on doing that? I dont think so. Ashley Judd has a good chance, b/c, well, this is KY, and all u have to do is convinced half of the 25% of the folks who are registered to vote. That's like... 12.5% of the folks you gotta convince to vote for you... there's a chance.

In 2008, Kentucky voted Hillary Clinton, over Obama, showing that we conservatives loves our racism, and then we voted McCain first in Nov 2008, at 6:05pm. Everybody knew it. Nobody expected anything different, Kentucky is fine with being irrelevant. Their primaries are in May, so it doesn't matter... Hillary? McCain? It didn't matter Kentucky! Since u just give them ur 8 electoral college votes, nobody fights for you! In order for your vote to have any power, you gotta hold that shyt back... make them fight for your vote! If they aren't worth voting for, then dont vote for them! It's that easy! Voting can be fun! Plus there's the 75% of the uninterested who need to register and go vote...

So since KY is MITCH and RAND, so BUSH/ROVE/CHENEY, PLUS, the TEA PARTY, so we got Neo-Cons, and we got Libertarian Anarchists. We got pro-Empire, and Anti-Empire. Pro-War on Drugs, Anti-War on Drugs. We have End the Fed, and make the Fed permanent... b/c of this phenomenon, it seems like KY is too "conserative"... but like America, there's always a backlash, and everything happens 10 years later in KY anyways... so we're going to catch onto Obama fever... next year. We'll realize he wasn't as bad as Rush told us, and we'll also realize that we need folks whose going to get us stuff, and bring it back here. Mitch is Ear Mark King. But he's also Tea Party. How's that make sense? It doesn't... so Mitch will "hate" Socialism, but will brag that he got us a Mitch McConnell Center at UofL. Hey, thx for the Socialism Mitch! Seriously...

So we need Ashley Judd, b/c Obama isn't going to keep on funding KY... Rand Paul is going to make wyte Kentucky starve to death, by gett'n all these river rat's food stamps cut, and he doesn't care, but if you're poor, you'll care... Ashley Judd brings back the balance to KY... there's no balance anymore. Obama's President for another 4 years... Mitch has been in there for 30 years, like Egypt's Mubarak... it's time to Ditch Mitch regardless, and Ashley Judd... Kentucky would only be so lucky, to have that Hollywood liberal represent her.

Though her cheeks have been a lil puffy recently...

I would not vote for her. She has no political background and she hates the coal industry. She is anti-coal and ANTI-JOB. She went to the University of Kentucky and they can't stand her. Talk about a job killer for KY, what about NAFTA? Old Mitch push that all the way through. More jobs have left, because of that than any other reason. I can name many industries here in KY, that went for cheaper wages, no insurance, no OHSA, and no labor boards. That is why we are in this deficit. We now import more, then we exports. Thanks to MItch!
What about all the millions he has made since NAFTA, what a trader.

I think she is a great actress and an attractive woman. Politician? No. She has even less business being a senator than Obama has being POTUS. And we see how that's working out.

If she runs, I will vote for her. I would rather have an honest liberal than a corrupt Republican. McConnell sold out to the corporations long ago. He has done nothing for Kentucky.

Sure Mitch was one of many that voted for NAFTA. But what you are pointing out is the over regulation that is occurring in the US. Business costs to comply with ever increasing regulations, mandates and taxes is choking this economy.

Speaking of Judd, she is definitely a strong candidate. Other than an celebrity/actress, what qualifications does she have? About as much as myself, Ben Afleck, Sean Penn or any other Hollywood person.

I am no McConnell (or any incumbent) fan but to hope that a person who doesn't even live in the state who's biggest connection is that she is a fan of the UK basketball team is no qualification to be a senator.

Let's look a bit more before we anoint another person to lead us. Recent history has shown that someone with limited experience in politics, who has never run a business is not someone we want leading us.

That attractiveness is starting to fade like time.

Ashley is nothing but another loud mouthed Hollywood Liberal bitch.

Seems to me we have more than enough of those already.

She does hate the coal industry and she comes out of coal mining region, Ashland, KY. She has 0 political experience and she is also anti-hemp. Why should Ms. Judd run when we have so may other good candidates to run like Jack conway, Greg stumbo, Ed marksberry, Crit Luallen, Jerry ABraomsom, Heather french Henry, James Comer, Jack givens, David Adams, etc? IF she is the chosen candidate against mitch (if he even runs) she has my vote but she sure isn't the BEST choice.

The above post sounds like when Obama got the peace prize 30 days into his first term. Now Judd hasn't even entered but the loonies think she is the greatest ever. You see with a liberal results don't matter, it is what they think or feel.

What a joke!

I don't care who runs against him , he needs to go. I don't anything about Ashley Judd. Is she smart? Is she aggressive? What are her views? does she even want to run for his seat?
If she runs there will be lots of "ditch psycho the bitch" bumper stickers!
Never a truer slogan.

Oh he scares me so! Masters is obviously stress about being having to defend his actions in court on Wednesday. I would be too.

Here's hoping the prosecution uses Topix as a reference to support proof of his being a lunatic.
