And it has happened again. Thortons, on Preston highway. Two children. Locked car with air conditioning on. Arrest made. No harm to children.

Still no arrest in the east end murder though. Guess the guy in this story needs to contribute to political campaigns a bit more generously. He could have baked them then with no consequences. Absolutely pathetic.

But your Honor, I simply forgot. In that case, okay. Better go get that beer on ice. And make that check out to my campaign fund.

Oh boy.....what is it with these stupid parents, and he knew they were there.Suddenly aware, there will be no arrest for the east end dad because it was deemed an accident.Arrests are not done based on a zip code or area of residence.Like the 2 'parents' in Indiana, they knew their children were in hot cars and thats why they were arrested. One more thing,im pretty sure that east end dad is suffering in his own hell for what he did, which was deemed an accident.Concentrate your anger on the scumbag who do it on purpose, like this guy.

This is an overreaction of the police because of recent deaths. The air conditioner was on. What would the difference be if he was empty and gassing up? State law requires that the car is turned off. Depending on how slow the gas comes out the "little darlings" would sit there as long or longer with the car OFF in the warm weather.

Don't look for any action on the east end case. I recognized early on that the fix was in on this one.

Leaving kids in the car is not that big of a damn deal people...what about sucking fetus's brains through a vaccum, and you idiots whine about stupid crap like this? Damn this worlds FOOLISH priorities. Cops are overreaching to get revenue for the state. Again, wake up...its all ''justice, and i say that loosely'' until you are on the recieving end of a police officers ridiculously stupid decision. The bible says in the end days we will turn on each other and thats whats happening, call the cops! Call the cops on everybody! Get a life sheep, this man did what people has been doing since I was a kid in the eighties, leave kids in car while run in for a quick purchase. Damn you government sheep, you give police power by depending on them for EVERYTHING. Watch as america rapidly dies and sinks to a nazi state. Pretty soon you wont be able to leave your kids outside in the backyard.

Agreed that children have been left in cars since there have been cars. And yes, knowingly. I've done it. My parents did as did my grandparents. We never killed our offspring. Yes, authorities are definately overreacting in some instances and doing jackshit in what should be manslaughter cases. Well, one case at least. The affluent perpetrator was forgiven. If we're to concede that leaving a child in a car for several minutes is careless, criminal, and horrendous, then what is it when someone "forgets" and the infant bakes longer than Thanksgiving's turkey. Sandy, you can't have it both ways. If it's worthy of being a criminal act when the child is not injured, then it damn sure is when the child roasts. Now tell me it is something else. Perhaps we shouldn't put children in cars at all. Since that act in itself subjects them to danger. Unless of course we're privileged. Laws DO apply to the east end too. Or they were supposed to. And yes Scarecrow, the fix was already in on this a long while back. If I were a defense attorney I would most assuredly refer to this case in any and all of these other cases as grounds for dismissal. I forgot, what a great defense.

I focus my anger and contempt towards the scumbag that walks for his criminal act. The others have been charged and WILL face prosecution. I can see the prejudice. Why can't you?

Anger and contempt? Such useless depressing, and stale emotions. Will we as a species ever ''get it.'' Advice to you....I used to be like you, let it go man...pray for those that would curse you, he is near....even at the door.

SA,i agree it shouldnt be done it all believe me.The 4mo who died in Indiana the father thought the baby was somewhere else but was left in the car,and was found with 3rd degree burns on her arms by a relative. What i honestly dont get is why this dad was charged with neglect of a dependent but the east end dad wasnt? It sickens me every year when i read about babies dying in hot cars.

Haven't you ever heard of the golden rule ????? Them with the gold make the rules.........

The fix was in,,, The powers that be (POB) are above the laws. One of my police buddies in Prospect can tell you all kinds of stories about the elite getting away with it.

Laws exist to maintain the status quo. You gotta keep the cattle in line. This state is an antebellum slave plantation and we are all slaves.

The owners are the Jewish Bankers in Louisville, The Horse Racing folks in the Bluegrass and the Coal Miners in Eastern Kentucky........ They own the politicans, judges and US.....

So it it illegal to leave my kids in the car while the air is on and I am pumping gas. The car is still on but as an adult I am not in it? Could this be a legal situation?

That is okay to do,as parents do this everyday.I think its because he left them and went in the store is the reason for the wanton endangerment charge.Since he had a limited drivers license,he was prob wrong in driving to the store also.Personally,i see nothing wrong with kids 9 and over left for a few minutes while mom or dad run into a convenience store.

. I disagree, one parent should have stayed in the vehicle with the children unless there was at least one child 16 or over.
