I used to say I do this, I do that but now there are many things where I say "I used to do that. Like breaking 2 year old Quarter horses for my wifes business. 2 years ago I broke 19, stayed sore from April until August, last year 7 and zero this year. Last year I had a stallion get me 2 far back in the saddle and threw me up in the air about 15'! Even the fresh 8" of sand in the sixty foot round pen didn't help a bit. I got back on of course and finally rode him down. May keep him since he is going to be huge and my 17 hand, 1200 pound gelding is 20 this year. He'll be good another 5 years then I'll let him rest for 10 years or he passes on.
