NJ Teens Arrested for Abuse, Killing of Cat

Authorities call it a "disgusting" case of animal abuse. Police in Pleasantville, Atlantic County say the boys, ages 15 and 16, caught a young stray cat on Monday night along Doughty Road.

This is one of the most disgusting things I have ever heard. The fact that these boys were 15 and 16 makes it even worse. I would be extremely worried raising a family in the same town as these monsters. If they could do this to an innocent kitten, I do not even want to imagine what else they could do. This is obviously the result of horrible parenting, no discipline, and an evilness that resides inside these boys. They should be severly punished for what they did, and this almost makes me wish they had to endure the same torture that they inflicted on an innocent little animal.

We, as a society, should just get rid of people like this. They cannot be rehabilitated, and next time it will be a child. They shouldn't be allowed to use up valuable food and oxygen.

Hi i love animals and it is stupid that they would kill an animal i would rather be tourchered and abused and then killed than see a animal go through that like what have animals ever done to hurt people.

I am 12 years old and i want to be a vet I want this to stop and i am going to find a way to stop this i promise.

I bring home lots of animals every day and then they get good homes and i cry when an animals out on the street or dies.

I wish it would all stop and i am going to make it stop and if any one of you guys can help me that would be great

I have eaten cat and it tast like chicken, nothing wrong with it (ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS) when prepared right, I was over seas when I exspierenced the wonderful tast of cat. But I really think if they introduced it in america it would go over big. we could have cat tenders and cat fra diablo, cat soup, taste just like chicken soup. Plus I dont preticuerly care for cat lovers they are evil animals. They are like live in lions or jaguars, would u want one of them living in your home. then why would u let a furry little critter run all over your house. Plus it's pretty cool how they skin and prepare them. First they dip them into boiling water so there skin can be pulled off real easy, and it does they take it off with a pair of prongs, rip it from head to tail and the evil little thing is still alive that's the best part. any way u can take it from there what they do with it, gut,slice and deliver one delicious little kitty stir fry

It is a horrible act for any person to torture a defenseless animal. But I am amazed at the hate response and attitude toward these kids. As for it being the most disgusting thing you ever heard of, I can think of so many situations such as soldiers being burned alive at war or tortured in unimaginable ways,children and adults kidnapped,tortured and killed,there are endless of horrible and disgusting scenario I can't bare to think of , and to just imagine these are on another human being. All troubled children aren't necessarily the product of bad parenting. Our children are exposed to good and bad when they are out of our care, at school or daycare and from friends. We can't keep them in a bubble. These were 15 and 16 year old kids, NOT 4 or 6. I also wonder what other children think when they read your post full of hate and wanting revenge. Use the time to educate and try to make others in that position learn that it is wrong to torture any person or animal, You unknowingly make a difference in a Childs life..don't be an advocate to hate and revenge.
