Why do you care? Do yourself a favor and act like they went out of business already. You are so obsessed with their demise it is laughable. Find a hobby or some meds geez.

Loved that answer! I believe Nomo was fired from Blockbuster...at least that is what I get out of all those obsessive comments.

Personally, I think blockbuster should be sold to someone who knows about online business. Amazon: Do you have your thinking cap on?

Not fired, voluntarily quit. The company was clearly going downhill and I got out before things really spiraled out of control. I joined Netflix after quitting and the rest is history...

History, A history of being a failure more like it. The issue at hand is that in a business 1 step up from a greeter at Walmart you ran it into the ground and the fact that you are Net Flix means in several months there will put a red box in the spot you now occupy

Blockbuster is definitely the failure here. They are keeping their obsolete stores open and let debt balloon up whereas Borders, for instance, is acting early and closing over 30% of its stores in the early stages of bankruptcy, my hometown store included. Borders has the right idea, Blockbuster doesn't.
