One for starters is the school, the students love it over there and the faculty and all the staff are wonderful!!!! there is a lot of great to RBS and if you do not have anything nice to say then why don't you just mind your own business please because most people probably do not care what you think because you are one dumb person in the world who cannot even spell just trying to get something started. There's lots of good things about RBS.I don't have anything bad to say about Lafayette,[hence] not a basher.The best thing about RBS would definitely be the people.They love "GOD",and would absolutely kill for their children,and are extremly hard workers! Nuff said!

Consolidate the two schools? The main reason for consolidation should be if one of the schools was academically inferior to the other and the education of all students would be improved by moveing the students of the poorer academic school to the better school. Well, we do have that situation here in good ole Macon Co. and consolidation should occur but Red Boiling Springs school is not big enough to hold the Macon County High students. That right, if you look at test scores and the state report card RBS is the superior school. The teachers there care about all students not just the affluent or the college bound. The faculty and principles should be shook up. I have family at both schools and I know the students at RBS work harder because more is expected of them. Parents of MCHS students need to wake up and see how bad some academics are getting at MC and demand better for there kids. stop worrying about sports and start worrying about education because one will take you much farther than the other.

Poor academics/scores at RBS is the reason they had to put in the paper that parents of RBS students could transfer them to another school.

The state made the school board offer this because of poor performance at RBS.

If you think the High School is scoring so high, you need a fact check.

They dont offer arts.
They dont offer AP.
They dont offer several sports.

All of which do give scholarships.

Also, all of which, the student is high aptitude in (such as I was during my school career) gets terribly ridiculed in.

Face it: not everyone is meant to be an FFA member Football player. And that's okay.
