Senator,

Shame on you for pandering to the ignorance and emotions of the people.

The FACT is that these so called bonuses are in contractural compensation that was ok'd by Congress and President Obama.

But facts and logic rarely matter in the face of soooo much emotion.

Yes he was. The President's stimulus bill at one time had language in it restricting these bonuses. It was removed at the urging of Geitner.

The stimulus that allowed the bonuses to proceed was in fact signed into law by President Obama.

Just a fact.

In fact last night on Jay Leno, Pres Obama even admitted that the legal opinion of AIG's lawyers that the "bonuses" should be paid, was not necessarily legally wrong.

He then made excuses for the fake outrage calling it an ethical and moral issue.

Big ups to the President for at least acknowledging the legality of the contracts. Shame on him for pandering to the emotions of the so-called ethical and moral issues which are IMHO just pure politics.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Capricorn

Confusion reigns supreme today, especially when dealing with financial matters. You could get into a muddle when sorting out your accounts or when working out how much you owe someone, even though you may not notice this at the time. It certainly isn't the day for parting with large sums of money because the chances of something going wrong are very high.
