Jenna Miller, if you read this please give some thought to why so many people are against your business. Do you remember the Octomom? Do you doubt that she love children? Her love for children becomes destructive selfishness when she discount her decision's impact on the children. You probably have managed to make yourself believe that your business is justifiable, but just imagine if someone is renting homeless babies. I am sure you can see that is wrong. Then, why is it okay for you to rent puppies? You are not a bad person. But a good person can make mistakes in judgment. Please give some thought. How do you screen the renters? Do you really think someone who would rather stay home and have puppies delivered to them would be a responsible dog owner? Where are you getting the puppies? Not from a shelter. So, you must be getting unsold puppies from breeders. No responsible breeders would condone your business. Don't you think you are helping irresponsible breeders therefore helping creating more homeless dogs?

Another article I found says the puppies she gets are returned puppies. That means she is getting the pups from a breeder or seller. So, she is more likely helping pet breeders or sellers who tend to have return pets which is not a good sign. So, she is more likely contributing to the homeless dog problems. Also, the business is FOR PROFIT. She is charging money renting the pups out. She is also charging when someone buys the pup. Why is it okay for her to call it "adoption?" If I sell pups online can I call it adoption?

And who is the Humane Society of US or Utah to say what should be or not be?
First, I would ask how much money do they pay their directors and then I would ask what percentage of their millions goes towards helping animals stay alive verses the KILL.
The HSUS is a private no profit with their own ideas and I would simply tell them to BUTT OUT and then I would demand they show me how they spend their money.
HS of UTAH - BUTT OUT or show me how you spend your money.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I grew up with two dogs and was devastated when I had to move for school and couldn't see them anymore. I would have one of my own already, but student housing doesn't exactly condone pets. I think this is great idea to help those who are unable to own pets of their own and I think it's great for the dogs to be able to get out and play.
