I have wondered like so many what happened to Fran. She was my favorite local newscaster and her absence has hurt NBC13's newscasting. Her replacement just does not cut it. I can barely stand to watch and has led me to watch 33/40. Fran and Mike had such a wonderful connection. I still like Mike, but it's just not the same without Fran. I just know that I miss her and hope she is doing well.

Fran, I hope you get this message. I had been wondering for sometime what happen to you. Just messing around on the computer, and saw the message you nwrote, saying you were let go from channel 13. BAD BAD MOVE on their part. i know God has something better in store for you. You spoke at our church in Goodwater some years ago, and we still have fond memories of that message. Good luck on whatever venture you pursue. Have you tried the "Super Scrabble" Set? It has 2 Z's 2 Q's 2 X's. and a lot more other letters. YOU GO GIRL!

You were my favorite local journalist to watch.
I loved to see you smile and laugh when that goofy weatherman would say something that you were amused by. Your attitude, professional demeanor and your smile are a combination that simply are irreplaceable.
What ever "tooth fairy" reason given by "NB--3" for their "letting you go", could not begin to be as great and as damning as the hundreds of "anti-U.S. Constitution crimes/sins" committed by Wall Street gangsters and their political counterparts/cohorts/flunkies, who are not only allowed to roam freely to strike again but, are rewarded BONUSES with millions and billions of our tax dollars apparently, for having committed the perfect crime.

I felt a personal victory when I read your reply to one GOSSIP MONGER'S post when you replied, "It's a rental car -- house is just fine -- stop by sometime for coffee." Borrowing a line from my favorite Emotions' song,(DON'T ASK MY NEIGHBORS, COME TO ME)...You go girl!:o)

@legal scout. Was Fran Curry's home sold on the courthouse steps? Does she have a job now? I think it's sad how Fran let herself go and seemed to no longer care about her appearance. Then, she missed sooooooo many days of work. I would have been fired too....long ago if I were off work as much as Fran was....it would not matter what the reason was. People cannot afford to pay your salary AND the salary of your fill-in because you're off work so much.
