Here Here. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE??? I agree When are people going to held accountable for their actions!!!! You can hurt someone and get more time than going ahead and killing someone. I don't understand why ANY part of the jsutice system is FOR the guilty and NOT the innocent. You are innocent until proven guilty. But when proven guilty they still get nothing. Yet people wonder why people are taking the law into their own hands. There is NO justice for the guilty in ANY part of the system.

How is it possible to only get 15 years for killing but then get 30 something for nude photos on the internet. I think it should go an eye for an eye in most cases. Nobody should get 15 years for beating anyone and then be able to get out in 5 years. Then on top of it all he admitted to doing it. I think that is the problem they don't tough enough sentences. I was watching something on TV about texas still doing the death penalty and I watched them kill 3 or 4 people right there. If they get the death penalty they should be put to death and not get all the luxeries they do. If there were tougher penalties and they were stuck to the crime rate would and hopefully go down. The justice system just don't make sense, when half teh time nobody get justice. help me understand, please

I tell you what, if your going to commit a crime, do it in Jackson County. I have heard from several different people who work with different law enforcement departments that there is no 'justice' in Jackson County. Bad guys sure are afraid of Clay and Cass counties but laugh at Jackson County. My prayers go out to the family of the Keyaun.

Thats crap. I have no faith in the system. Innocent until proven guilty, then still innocent or a smack on the hand, but get caught pissin in public or drunk walkin down the street..the bigger the crime, the lesser the time. Its so f**ked up. Its sick. This was an innocent child, who stood no chance against this monster. A mother lost her baby..Im tired of the system protecting the guilty--and they wonder why no one bothers to stop and say anything when or if they see anything, like its going to matter anyway. I really hope and pray for this family..and for all the families in the future that fall victim to the "system". Bye the way..I live in Johnson county and been a victim a couple times, and the system has failed me each and every.

I think something more needs to be done. Give him to the lil boys family and let them punish him. Whats to say he won't do this to another little boy. It sickens me to see so called JUSTICE. That is defineatly NOT justice. The family of the little boy is in my prayers.

They call that justice . What happens when he gets out and tries to hurt another baby. I pray for that family . I think the law inforcement needs to take more care of real criminals like this instead of lil things like crossing a yellow line while driving or 5 miles over the speed limit.

Why would anyone threaten the surviving child? That just goes to show that the family of the murderer is just as responsible as the one who actually killed. His mama should have raised him with morals! Maybe if she had, Ke Ke would still be alive! Yeah, thats right, accept responsibility for your failure!

I personally do not believe that there were threats against the remaining child. The Winton family are not those type of people. Yes, what Shawrice did was wrong, and it is he who is going to have to face our maker on judgement day. So who are WE to judge. Both families have lost a child, and it is a horrible situation all the way around. It is time to find forgiveness in your hearts and begin the healing process as ALL CHRISTIANS are asked to do.

Crazy laws. Really a person can go to prison for a non violent drug like marijuana for 50 years but someone who murders someone gets off a lot sooner.

Yeah, can you believe Marc Emery of Canada was sent to the USA Federal Prison for a non violent crime. He got 5 years Federal for selling hemp seeds.

The bad thing is, he was in Canada while he did it. The US Department of 'whatever' forced Canada to extradite him to the USA. Pure Crap! Google Marc Emery

To the family: Find out what prison he is going to and I am sure you can get the word out to the ones doing life and have them take this monster for a walk, follow him to the shower or whatever. Let the prisoners do to him what he did to that baby. It's so sad for the little boy.

I am not clueless. I agree that he did a horrible crime. This baby did not deserve what he did. My heart goes out to the babies mother and extended family. I don't think I could bare with that type of loss. But who are we to judge or make idle threats? We are not GOD! The Wintons are good people and should not be held accountable for his actions.

What he did was wrong...but what i don't understand is that you all are saying how wrong Murder is, but yet you are talking about murdering him??? If Murder is wrong in one instance, murder is wrong in all instances. you can't pick and choose when murder is acceptable. Right is right and wrong is wrong, and if you don't agree, you better check the "Word of God" by Your Maker. I agree he should be punished, and maybe we don't feel this was strong enough, but God is still in charge, and his judgment is still to come!!! don't fill your heart and head with hate, b/c then it is only you who will continue to suffer!!! We all need forgiveness not just criminals!!

Hmm.. let's talk about this here... You kill a CHILD and are able to possibly get out in 5..!? There is NO forgivness after killing someone- especially a child. GOD WILL NOT FORGIVE THIS MAN FOR HIS ACTIONS, BUT HE WILL SEE TO IT THAT HE GETS A BETTER PUNISHMENT THEN 5 YEARS! Karma comes back to you hard.. he should of got the death penalty. But I do firmly believe he will get what he deserves (which is DEATH after SUFFERING!!)
