Wait, I think I'm missing something here... if the accident happened in January, then why is he turning himself in now? Why wasn't he arrested and charged at the scene of the accident? Certainly he couldn't have fled after a head-on collision, and he wasn't charged with evading responsibility... so what happened between then and now?

They need to include a bit more explanation in these stories.

Yeah what's the scoop Courant? Didn't your reporter ask that question? That's a big time gap with no explantion.

How many of us could have gotten away with walking in to the police station, to give ourselves up after killing a man eight months ago, in a car accident? This young man must of had some clout. Some type of drugs take a few months to clear, and that may have some bearing on this subject.
