Police: Drunk man in RV crashes into cars

A man faces several charges after his RV crashed into three cars and a utility pole Tuesday night.

What a surprise.....these selfish drunks dont care about anyone or anything. They are repeat offenders who dont fear consequences, because all they ever get is a slap on the hand. Taking their license away doesnt stop them from driving. How about tougher legislation and actually following through with some severe punishment. This idiot will be behind the wheel again in no time, drunk of course.

No--He will do jail time and lose license to drive for years. If caught again--More jail and fines.

Absolutly right. There are hundreds out there driving with suspended licenses. Taking it away does no good at all. Next time we hear about this guy, if he does any jail time, he'll get out early, get behind the wheel with a suspended license and probably kill someone. He's a no good, lowlife drunk who doesn't care about anything but his precious liquor bottles.

Wow thank goodness no one was hurt or killed by this guy.

He certainly did a lot of damages though.
Maybe he will get some jail time...maybe not....

I just checked the CT Courts site and he has been arrested for DUI in the past, plus other offenses. Get him off the street before he kills someone.

He is in big trouble. Driving under suspension and then caught for a DUI is certainly at least 120 days state vacation. Some things might make it worse, depending on BAL, blood alcohol level, his time may increase. After that he will have to do the Commonwealth Group thing. That consists of a weekend retreat and meetings monthly to discuss your sobriety and to make sure you get your paper signed. I hope he finds sobriety. ALCOHOL is the WORST DRUG GOING!

Agreed - But the problem is you don't need a license to actually drive a car (nor do you need insurance or registration). All you need are the keys.

Lose what exactly? I've yet to see anyone actually get punished for drinking and driving.'lose your license' maybe? haha. yeah, unless your a damned liberal idiot, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize that a little plastic card isnt going to stop people from driving if they dont have it.

Actually, in some cases it's better to lose your license. Now you don't need to worry about insurance, registration, property taxes, etc... Belly up to the bar everyone!

I think the police and Homeland Security should investigate to make sure there are no terror links here. I always get a little nervous when I read about trucks or vans being crashed into things. Better to be safe than sorry.

When you are caught driving under the influence of liquor the vehicle that they are driving should be sold at auction and the money made should go the state.
