cctv? red light cams?

Anybody else notice all the little white, glass domed apparatuses hanging off poles at most major intersections in Plant City? I've also noticed them recently on my commute to work down county line road / Lakeland. Any idea if they are cctv or red light cams?

I have noticed several of them along James Redman Pkwy. I checked FDOT cams and determined D.O.T. does not seem to claim them. Hope someone will post an answer.

they prob belong to the city in an effort to "raise some revenue" thru sending people tickets for speeding and red light runners, that way their officers can continue to relax at duncan doughnuts, knowing they don't have to patrol the streets and actually DO their job. these cameras are an invasion of our privacy....a cops job is to catch you in the act, not look at a "tape" and mail tickets out

seems to me if they would put this much effort into catching murders, rapists, and child molesters, people could relax, knowing their streets are finally safe...and perhaps calm down enough to slow down. they spend more money prosecuting minor things and letting the "big fish" thrive. i wish they would use all that big money on catching real bad people, and less on technology that allows them to sit on their asses so much. they got the nickname "gumshoe" for a reason...they got gum on their shoe....walking and WORKING a beat, not sitting on the ass waiting to catch those "horrid" misdemeanors.
