i know the guy that killed the guy in the park. he has never been a good guy and although he probably never meant to kill the man he started it. this guy who was the killer would rather "get back" at someone he doesn't know then have one of his own guys be "dissed". i went to school with this boy he wasn't bad but he wasn't good. shit always gets awful when it comes to violence. god damn violence.

A word of advice for you. "Dead men tell no tales". How do you know what happened unless you were there? According to police, Mr. Khan was alone against three assailants. How did he get himself into getting murdered. I doubt seriously that he attacked thee men.

SELF DEFENSE... Faran was asking for trouble. Jose tried to do the right thing and walk away from the altercation and as soon as he turned his back he got a bat swung to the back of his head knocking him out. i saw him today and he has a giant bulge on the back of his head and many stitches above his eye. Jefferson saw his best friend knocked unconscious and shaking on the ground and retaliated. So all of u who do not know the real situation get your facts straight and stop pointing fingers at the wrong people. it is sad that a life was lost however khan is completely at fault for the situation he got himself into.

I went to school with Jefferson and have seen him around multiple times. Khan has a pending charge against him for assault against a family member. So... that being said.. tell me this guy wasn't askin to get his ass beat? He might not have deserved to die.. but self defense is self defense and when you feel threatened for your life, you gotta do what you gotta do. But, Khan obviously already has a background of aggression so who's to say he didn't start this whole mess.
That is some hardcore bullsht. "That being said, tell me this guy wasnt asking to get his ass beat" You know nothing of this person, "so who's to say he didnt start this whole mess" The evidance is "who's to say" not the cloudy Ignorant guess you make because you heard he had a pending charge. Do you even know what that charge is? No. Its people like you that make the truth so much harder to reach.

i dont know if its the whole story or not,but from who i head it from (2nd link source ) the 2 guys went to the b-ball court and where khan was practing kricket or somthing and the kids wanted him to leave so they could play. i dont knw what words were said but it eventually led to khan whacking the guy across the face, not while his back was turned, after the guy swung at him, and the other guy flipped and just stabed him, so it was a equal effort
Check your facts buddy before you post and spread your false info to everyone. You dont know it was an equal effort. But what you said was nothing to describe an equal effort anyway.

If this was "open and shut" why has this case not been presented to the Grand Jury? Did you also know that rumor has it that Mr. Khans mother had to leave her home for three weeks as she was ATTACKED by her wonderful son.

Let the evidence prevail and justice will take it courts. There is always two sides to every story.

By the way. Bail is usually a condition of most charges. The fact that both of these men are free on bond is not unusual and no protest is going to change that fact.

I was at shcool when this happend (Ford Middle School.) It happend on a side walk by the park, where I used to play when I was younger. When they finnaly releases us from school, I walked outside and saw that the park was flooded with policem not knowing what had happend. I was terrified. Knowing that this happend less than 100 yards from where from where my school was, and thinking that maybe some one could have stopped it, Horrified me. Also knowing that this event happend, ruind my memories at that park. Me and my friends tried to ask the police what happend, no answers. They just told us to step away from the scene. Sometimes I think Allen police are there to clean up the mess, and not there to try to stop it. They doubled the police in Allen less then a year ago, then, why didnt someone get there sooner? Rest in peace, Jose.

Does not matter who hit who first. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE DIED!
Grow up people with the he said she said crap!
This should not have happened. A logical person would call 911 to get assistance if someone whacked him for nothing and not stab this person in the heart with a tire rod.
It was 3 against one! I can't get over the insanity. This is getting to be an insane world to live in.
Everyone has to be on the defense at all times.
3 against 1.....who was the 3 rd ?

Why did they carry the tire iron away from their car ?
Some posts don't make sense. And the article is brief.

Let us not jump to conclusions, rumor has it that there were some cameras pointed at the location of the murder, since it was so close to the Ford Middle School. It will all come out in the trial; the police does not provide on going details to blogs on internet :).
AFAIK Faran was a normal kid (I don't know the detail of the "assault against family member" charge - I do know that he was not violent). It is hard to believe that there is no dirty laundry on the perpetrators; sounds like they are really clean and well-adjusted (alleged) murderers.
From their facial expressions the two boys look like murderers. They murdered the innocent buy so ruthlesly, surely a monster whould do such a thing.

Yes from their facial expressions they look like murderers. No wonder they so ruthlessly killed the young boy leaving the boys family devasteted. They surely look like they have the boys blood on their hands. This is surely the work of a devIl or a monster and justice should be delt on the 28th of Feb 2011.

First off I went to school with Khan and Diaz. Both had a history of fights in school, I've witnessed these acts, both of them started the fights that I have seen, also Khan has started fights that I haven't seen and knew he received corrective action for being involve in altercations. Before you jump all to conclusions, Khan hit one of the boys with the cricket bat, does that justify beating to the point of murder? Heck no. But let's be fairly aware who started the fight before we turn this into a "hate crime", that's absurd. Someone, somewhere has spread a ton of misinformation. Also, the reason bail was lowered for both boys, is they do not have a criminal record, first offense and what is the first rule of the American Judicial Process? Or did we forget we are in America? It is innocent until proven guilty, obviously the state didn't think the fingerprints on the tire iron was definitive proof or the video cameras (that they use at all AISD buildings) didn't provide sufficient evidence to keep bail at $200,000 dollars. It makes sense, in the end it's all going to come out, so between now and then stop making up your own crap. It's a saddening loss certainly, it's never fair to have a loved one taken from you, I'm not downplaying that at all, just look at the facts and don't let certain biases get in the way of that.

its funny how all of yall know so much about what happen i didnt notice all of yall as witness at the trial. or how no one talks about how jefferson diaz was covered in the dead guys blood and had a bloody imprint of the tire iron on his leg while hughes had no blood or dna on his clothes. also how jefferson and jose were working with the allen police to bust drug dealers and trafficer because they had been busted with drugs already. also i think its pretty funny how the allen police got caught in lie after lie tring to convicted hughes when everyone clearly knew that jefferson killed khan and whats even worse is that they are going to let jefferson walk away from this without punishment
