charging all these kids, is not going to bring her back- I doubt they forced the liquor down her throat. This is a very unfortunate event, and I feel very bad for her family; however, she was her own person and why should these other kids go down for her making the decision to drink (how do we know, she didn't ask them to get her LQ?) LET it go

You obviosly do not have children because it would be a different tune if you did!!! Yes I agree, it will not bring her back but people do need to be held responsible for their actions!!! In case you did'nt know, underage drinking is against the LAW regardless if she asked for the liquor or not. The fact of the matter is the irresponsibility of the teenagers/friends who let her wonder off, intoxicated, in the first place!! Poor judgement on their part. Let it go ??? That is a heartless statement!!! Tell that to the grieving parents!!!

actually, I know what it feels like to loose a child, and that is how I know for a fact, that know matter how many poeple are blamed (or held responsible) it doesn't make a difference in the end. I am not saying that teens should be drinking or supplying alcohol for one another, but charging each person that brought alcohol to this party is insane.

Considering none of you even knew the family, you should both lower your tone. No, the booze was not forced upon her, it is her own action. This should serve as a lesson to others, but the people that were charged for this were good people that did nothing wrong. Going back and forth, it is an ugly thing to think about either way. The guilt that the kid bought her the booze is enough, nevermind having it printed all over the papers. Yes drinking is against the law, but if it wasnt, would they have been in the woods to begin with? MOST teens act irresponsibly, but either way kids are going to experiment. Does that mean encourage it, no. But history shows. Think about that

hopefully, the next person, about to buy liquor for an underage person will think about this and think twice before making the same mistake.

she made her own decision to drink, she suffered the consequences...unfortunatly for her and her family they were severe. kids underage drink all the time and party...they have to accept the risk without placing the blame on everyone else.

You really need to think about what your saying here. what is she "suffering" from? A drinking epidemic? Who is placing the blame on anyone else? Do you know what happened in this situation? She was pointed in the wrong direction in the middle of the woods. You truley are an ignorant piece of shit.
