Are you full of beans or what? If it is night time with no adverse weather conditions or sight-line limitations then shoudln't the other driver also been cautious? Sirens and lights on, correct? Or are you stating that he (the officer) was driving recklessly, in the dark, with asolutely no thoughts or awareness of anything or anyone else? I have been on the roads and I can spot blue and red lights behind me or hear sirens even when blasting my radio and when I pull to the side is when others seem to notice. It is quite interesting at times to see drivers keep driving during an emergency situation (whether it is the Police, Fire Truck or an Ambulance) instead of just pulling over and let them through...particularly at exit entrances. Maybe you would like to reacess the situation and take intto consideration that if speed was the only factor then both drivers are at fault! Here are the road rules again, when you hear sirens or see flashing lights, move to the right and stop your vehicle. it is very important when drivers are coming off of exit ramps to consider that they need to slow down...in case you haven't noticed a few people have been runned over at exactly those areas....and if that is the case, then, the sirens would have been heard and red and blues couldn't have been missed.

Is it possible that this is why we have such trouble finding competant candidates for the police academy? The majority of police officers are exemplary indivuals who daily risk their lives for people the don't even know. Yet they are constantly critized and critiqued in, I believe, an unfair way. Please support these men who give so much.

So, lets get right, the fault of one driver causes a serious accident, injuring one person, ruining two automobiles, the insurance will pay some cost, and taxpayers will be paying the rest of the responsibility of a careless person. I don't think so, this is a problem with the laws and insurance companies of our states. This guy needs to pay all the cost of this accident for his stupidity for failure to carry out the law of the roads.

Fred is a fine police officer,it's what he was born to do.To call him "stuck up" and a "wannabe" only goes to show how dealing with the public can be a challange.Dealing with this fellow from Propect is the very thing thats makes being a cop more then just a job.

Fred is one of the hardest working police officers I have ever met. He is also very caring and compassionate. Cromwell is lucky to have such an individual serving the community. I will always have your back Fred!!!
