Review: Farmington Auto Park

I purchased a car in October 2008. The car's steering failed at 60 mph on the highway less than 5 minutes after driving off the lot. I was lucky to get the car off the road. When I called Farmington Auto Park, they said that there was no warranty and that repair was my responsibility. They knowingly sold a car with a significant safety defect that could have killed me. I should have checked the Better Business Bureau for complaints. I am not the only one very dissatisfied with Farmington Auto Park. Pass the word to your friends and family - avoid this company.

I came across this blog and thought I should post my experience with farmington auto park. I am a single mother of three and I have purchased two vehicles from there. One for myself three years ago and one this past summer for my oldest daughter. I have had nothing but great experiences with farmington auto park! I got two great deals on my vehicles buying them both well below book value. I have had no problems at all with either vehicle except when I blew out a tire running over a bunch of nails in a home depot parking lot. I brought it to them to see if they could plug it and they did for free. When that didn't last they offered to buy the tire thru them at there dealer cost which was almost half the price! They were really good to me and would recommend them to anyone.

Check out the BBB before buying from Farmington Auto Park LLC, really...do not buy any vehicle from these 2 guys. They buy from auction....and sell that way, no repairs, no OIL, nothing...they will call 1 bank for financing to get the highest interest, no matter what!!! 1 bank... Check out thier web page:

There is not even enough room on the street to park your car to look at vehicles in the "so called dealership"...the web page is not what it appears to be, believe me, scam is what scum does.

Wow I am really shocked to read these thing I had nothing but a great experience at farmington autopark. I love my vehicle, I got a very fair price and they got me approved. I know for a fact they used two banks with me. They said my credit was not as bad as I said it was and went up the ladder to a better bank. It worked I went from 12.9 % down 9.9%. My altima runs fine and I am very happy. I was really shocked to read these comments!

Farmington Autopark has been wonderful to me. I purchased a Lexus and would never be driving this great vehicle without their help. They got me a car loan ..... good rate. I am now driving in style!

When I did have an issue with the vehicle, they were wonderful in making sure that the vehicle was serviced. They even helped me get 4 winter tires at dealer cost.

I'm now planning to purchase another vehicle from them for my husband, and kids.

You only get respect, if you give it.

I bought my 2004 navigator last month at farmington auto park. They told me if I had a chance to go online and write a review in one month good or bad. Well It's been one month and I can honestly say it was a great experience from the price to the service. They told me they average over 300 cars a year and only the one or two people with problems are the only ones online. So I am writing to say everything I did with Farmington auto park was great. I am from west hartford.

My daughter bought a 2000 Mitsubishi gallant from these two punks and and the car was never safety checked, all the fluids were low, the ignition locked up on her less than 2 weeks after she had it. She called punk #1 Adam and he told her it was her problem if she paid to have it flat bedded from West Haven all the way to Plainville they would have their "mechanic" look at it and give her a "discount" on the repair. When I called and spoke to punk #2 he told me the horn worked when she left, and it was impossible that the car was low on fluids, I checked it my self and it was 1 1/2 qts. low on oil and 1 qt. low on tranny fluid. Then he said I must not know how to read the dipstick right. I'm 42 yrs. old and was a mechanic for 15 yrs. before back surgery forced me to retire. I went through the whole car it's a pile of junk and the two punks are crooks who talk big on the phone but would probably run away and hide if I had to go there. Adam also cussed at my daughter on the phone.

sounds like you should go down there man! I would be pissed if that was my daughter's car, especially if I didn't look at the vehicle first I would feel like I let her down.

One of the best prepped car I ever bought, even better than some of the brand new ones! No issues and the owner ordered me rims at his cost. Their straight by me!
